Sit N’ Sew workshop hosted by Eivy T2T @eivyt2t

Thank you to everyone who came out, stopped by, and leant a helping hand or a curious ear. We met up at Jacob Riis Park Beach folded zines, made art, and went cookoo for collage. Much of our discussions surrounded the magic of the beach and how important public and free access is. Lookout for our next irl adventure in September!

We will be making collages, t-shirt customizing, rosettes, and hosting a Sit n’ Sew workshop by Eivy T2T.

*Jacob Riis has a historic background as a safe space for the LGBTQIA+ community any harassment or bigotry will not be tolerated. This event is open and inclusive to all.

The @pplsriisearch has supplied resources on the effort to keep the people’s beach public. They will be present with stencils, stamps, and we will be constructing zines!

From a church shirt… to a one-of-one statement piece. ✨♻️

This wasn’t bought off a rack.

This was handmade by @eivyt2t for @eivyxegm, designed specifically for me.

After my accident, I shared with Evy that I wasn’t feeling as confident in my body because I haven’t been able to work out the way I normally do. Instead of hiding my insecurities, she designed a piece that celebrates my curves while making me feel beautiful again.

The best part? This started as an old long-sleeve church shirt.

She completely deconstructed it, upcycled it, and transformed it into wearable art. Every stitch was sewn by hand. Every detail has meaning. Every custom piece tells a story.

This is exactly what Eivy X EGM is all about.
