Spent quite a lot of my maternity leave on the couch with a newborn Lalo watching 1/2 of the movies in Watch This Before You Turn 18!, a new book of films for teens designed and art directed with my angel @whoremone and illustrated by the indefatigable @b_virot (thank you for not quitting over our increasingly elaborate prompts for you). This is a follow up to Hey Kids, Watch This! and we went even harder on this one, I’m so so proud of it. Some credits: Edited by @jondotd, photo editing @madeleinemorleyy, published by the most iconic @a24books team @gourmet___bathing @_shayan_ @margaret__rhodes and as I said co everythinged with my quing 👑 Jordi Ng. A little peek at the new identity for @icapittsburgh (formerly the Miller ICA). Our (me and @whoremone) rebrand coincides with the Museum’s move to an expansive new building scheduled to open in 2027, so lots more to come!

In honor of the season, here are some pages from “Which Way Out: A Heretic Puzzle Companion,” a puzzle book set inside a spooky old house you never should have entered. Part of the @a24 zine series, it takes inspiration from the 2024 film “Heretic,” with a series of puzzles that need to be solved in order to escape. Designed and art directed with @whoremone as usual, and illustrated (heroically fast, I’ll add) by the amazing @katharinakulenkampff, each spread features a different room in the house, with some scary things going on beneath the floorboards.

Puzzles by Brooke Husic and Will Nediger. Developed in collab with @a24books dream team @gourmet___bathing @margaret__rhodes @_shayan_. Type in use is Forevs by @ohnotypeco and Triptych by @thepytefoundry. This came out in 2024, but you can still purchase in the A24 shop.

Fun fact: Watched Heretic sitting at my desk at 11am on a Tuesday and it was still pretty creepy! by @elanaschlenker

This summer I designed and art directed this hilarious piece by @emily_elsie for @nytopinion on objects that define America. Illustrated by the wonderful @hospice_1er, we put these contemporary artifacts (Costco rotisserie chicken, Goop’s infamous yoni egg, an inflatable tube man and so on…) into deadpan vignettes inspired by colonial house museums. Also snuck in a little Pittsburgh Easter egg, can you find it? Just a few crops here, worth digging up the full piece to see Laurent’s images in all their glory (some iconic comments, too) / Edited by Anna Marks & @_meher, creative director @kristinadimatteo, produced with @ana_becker. Made a quick flyer to promote my brother @harlequinvintageny’s new open warehouse hours. If you follow them, you might know they closed down their Bushwick storefront this spring. You might not know they have a warehouse space nearby, which will be opened up for public shopping this Saturday and Sunday for the first time. More info on their ig: @harlequinvintageny. NYC friends, go visit and tell him I sent you, maybe he’ll give you a deal (or maybe he’ll just get mad at me hehe)

Excerpts from Andre Bradley’s Dark Archives as featured in The Archive as Liberation by @aturn_arkdelta. I designed Dark Archives many years ago for @cornellmfa_imagetext and it was a special treat to revisit and reinterpret Andre’s moving project for this publication, which looks at a number of artists working with archival imagery. Although we’ve moved on to 2026, The Archive as Liberation was selected by the @vsco editorial team as one of their favorite books of 2025, which is pretty cool! If you haven’t seen it yet, the project is available via @lightworkorg. by @elanaschlenker
