Presented by the Austin Live Music Fund, @cmaysun teams up with @lechehousemusic to create a sound that could only come from Austin, Texas.

A lifelong musician, May’s musical journey began from playing classical piano to performing over 300 shows as a blues vocalist in Austin’s legendary live music scene.

Produced by Beto Martinez, co-founder and guitarist of Grammy Award-winning Grupo Fantasma, the first single brings together May’s R&B vocals with psychedelic and Latin-inspired textures.

The first single, “So Sweet,” will be released Fall of 2026.

Dedicated to documenting and preserving the history of Austin, Texas - the “Live Music Capital of the World.”

@moneychicha Rocks the Park tonight! We are joined by @theavocados for an evening of verbed out guitars and combo organs. There will be some surprises, it is 9-2-5 after all. 😉

It’s a family friendly event in the park and all are welcome. It’s gonna be hot, but we’re not afraid of the heat, are we? We’re from here, always have been. We thrive in the heat, unlike Ice. Ice melts and frankly has no place here, in this heat, our natural environment.

So come out and have some fun rocking out to surf music and dancing to cumbia. We hope to see you there. by @elbigtoe

Today the new CARAVAN STRANGE album was released on streaming. I encourage y’all to give it a listen and hopefully it will make you want to attend a show and maybe even get ya a Vinyl!

The making of this record was a pure joy, especially due to the fact that we co-produced it with my great friend Beto Martinez. Being able to work as a team was a ton of fun and gave us great results. The band was very responsive to the comments we had and the process went as smoothly as it gets. Thanks to Nick Tozzo (The Animeros) for introducing us to Mohamed Diab.

This record was made possible by the City of Austin. We are so lucky to have such an amazing city that understands how vital the music scene is to the eco system of our town. THANK Y’ALL CITY OF AUSTIN FOR KEEPING IT ALIVE!

New album ‘Gowa Wa Barra’ from @caravanstrange is out and streaming everywhere today! This was an incredible experience co-producing with my great friend @alnico.studio. A true collaboration, working with this wonderful band recording and mixing between our two studios. I’m super happy with the results and I think you will be too. Give it a spin and check the band out live and grab a vinyl. The record release last night was smokin’!

I’ll add that this is a unique album in the Austin musical landscape. Sung in Arabic with rhythms spanning hemispheres, there’s not a lot like this out there right now. by @elbigtoe

Congratulations to @dossantoschi on the release of their LP Es Amor on @otherly_love. It was a pleasure getting to work with my friends again @___caminante___ @jaimediablero @brownbabyjesus @congabanger and @nathan_or_nate_n8 between ATX and CHI. We have a shared musical vocabulary and experience, not to mention years of friendship, that made this process near effortless. It was a blast recording in Chicago with @d0uglassssss @jamdek_recording. Overdubs and mixing @lechehousemusic and mastering by @sampatlove.

When they asked me to play guitar as well for the shows in support of this release, I was honored and surprised. But it made sense and now I’m headed to Chicago to play some cumbias con los bros.

Really proud of this work and this record, give it a listen and catch a show if you can! by @elbigtoe
