From @elbigtoe: When I wrote the song “Los Angeles” for @thelossundowns in 2019, I sent it to my good friend, the talented @ferminporahora in CDMX to collaborate on. He wrote an incredible vocal to accompany the music. Ultimately we decided to go with the instrumental version for the Sundowns récord feeling it fit the vibe of the album more. Today Fermin is releasing his version called “Un Angel” and I think it’s amazing. Give it a listen and watch the excellent video on his YouTube channel! by @thelossundowns

A speculative electro neo-sōl odyssey. Debut album out now on @nacionalrecords.

Bear with us as we attempt to recover our original account. This is our backup for now. Thanks for the support. @caramelohaze taken in Lechehouse Music by @thelossundowns

People of the Internet! Excuse the radio silence. After we unfortunately had to cancel our performances in Chicago earlier this month due to @elbigtoe coming down with the Rona, @thelossundowns have been laying a little low.

However, Beto Martínez and Daniel Villarreal have not. @brownbabyjesus recently released his solo record Panama 77 through @intlanthem. This record is out and available now! @elbigtoe is releasing a record this Friday June 24 for his new project @caramelo_haze through @nacionalrecords. Both Beto and Daniel will be sharing the stage this weekend in Austin as The Daniel Villarreal Group and @moneychicha Friday and Saturday @cboysheartnsoul.

@thelossundowns continue working on new material and hope to reschedule Chicago dates soon. We’ll keep you up to date on any new live opportunities as well.

Thank you for supporting our musical endeavors and hope to see you on a stage soon. Peace.

Due to circumstances out of our control, The Los Sundowns will not be in Chicago for Mole de Mayo @moledemayofest or at Pilsen Yards @pilsenyards today. We regret not being able to play for you but hope to make it up real soon. Thanks and take care. by @thelossundowns

Hey everyone, it’s Thursday again and it feels weird to not have a show. 😢 As we mentioned, last week was the last night of the Feb/March @cboysheartnsoul residency for us. However, @nuevomusica keeps it going through the end of the month and joining them for these last two shows are our good friends and fellow Laredo, TX carnales @automaticweekendmusic. This will be a super fun bill and a great way to close out the last couple nights of this most excellent residency. Y’all be sure to drop in and enjoy the music. We’ll be seeing you out on stage somewhere soon! Peace. ✌🏽 taken in Austin, Texas by @thelossundowns

If you’re in the ATX for SXSW, you’ve got a couple chances to see @thelossundowns this weekend.

Thursday night catch us @cboysheartnsoul for the latest installment of our ongoing residency with @nuevomusica. If you haven’t made it out yet, now is the time! This will be our last appearance after a month and a half of Thursdays, though Nuevo will continue and finish out March.

Saturday catch us @esbmacc for their Maccnifico Latinx showcase with @nemegata @el_combo_oscuro @easycompadremusic and @kikovillamizarmusic. Excellent music and good times at the Mexican American Cultural Center.
