Raid the Rockies 3.5 day Adventure Race ⬇️

Why do you do it? I want to meet the version of myself I’ll only see on the other side of the finish line. I want to meet myself at a new level. I want to see how deep I can dig and for how long.
These experiences change the fabric of your DNA.

Getting the invitation to dig for courage, grit, and beauty while part of a team in the Rocky Mountains was an easy answer.
Yes.

As someone too afraid of failure to try in the past, my journey to being a professional failure has been hard fought. In many ways I have become an entirely different person. Shaped by trying and succeeding when I thought it impossible, and by failing even when I thought I had it all dialed.

This team sport has met my desire for more by gifting me beautiful suffering. To try is to be vulnerable.

The joy and awe experienced during this race was soul filling.

I’m so thankful for my team Electric Mayhem ( @negritoar2 @cballantine @jadeeagles ) and a special thank you to all the volunteers including @andy_burbec and Emma.

Our team journey continues at @raidinfrance where we will spend 8 days sauntering and suffering our way through Corsica, France.

I don’t know what version of myself is waiting on the other side of this race, but I can’t wait.
Every training session is a love letter to her.

My hope is to inspire others that those crazy dreams you have are worth pursuing. 🌄❤️
