CORSICA WAS MAGIC!
I’m still digesting everything that happened this past week at the Adventure Racing World Championship in Corsica. A whole year of planning, countless hours of training, and balancing work, family, and life… all leading to this unforgettable experience.
189 hours of racing and more than 17,000 meters climbed — and somehow, the hardest part now might be coming back to normal life. How could we not feel that post-race depression after something so life-changing?
If I had to describe this experience in one word, it would be STUNNING! From reconnecting with our AR family and representing our country’s flag 🇪🇨to the incredible Corsican culture, breathtaking landscapes, amazing people, and the teammates I had the privilege of racing with. Even those unpleasant surprises along the trails… NNNNOOOO! 😂
This is what makes adventure racing so special: the places, the people, the suffering, the laughter, and the memories that last a lifetime.
Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine racing in Corsica, let alone joining so many incredible athletes in the Adventure Racing Hall of Fame. Still trying to wrap my head around that one!
I’ve never been the fastest or the slowest. I just love this damn sport and want to help others fall in love with it, too.
Thank you, God, for this opportunity and for doing immeasurably more than I could have ever asked or imagined. 🙏 Thank you, babe, for being there and making so many teams smile. And thank you, teammates, for the grit, the laughs, and pushing through every high and low. We did this together! ❤️
More stories to come as my neurons reconnect… 🧠😂

As the lead teams crossed the finish line yesterday, Adventure Immersion Lab was emerging from one of the most brutal treks of the race.

First, a huge congratulations to Estonia and all the podium finishers! What an extraordinary achievement on a course like no other. 👏

And a special shoutout to two Canadian teams for their incredible performances, Subaru Expedition Canada, finishing 5th, and Bend Racing/4 Hour Fuel, finishing 7th! 🇨🇦 What a showing on the world stage!

Meanwhile, our team was emerging from an extraordinarily demanding trek. Days of relentless racing, punishing terrain, and weather that has refused to cooperate have taken their toll. The exhaustion was written all over their faces. But they’re still moving.

And the course keeps changing.

The packrafting stage scheduled for this morning was cancelled due to low water, affecting more than 20 teams. With further course changes ahead, adaptability remains as important as endurance.

And they’re not alone! Electric Mayhem is still right there with them. The two teams have even given themselves a new name - AIME (Adventure Immersion Lab + Electric Mayhem). Two teams, one shared determination to reach that finish line.

After biking from TA8 to TA9, AIME set off on the next major bike leg at noon today. They’ll ride through the night, hoping to cross the finish line sometime tomorrow morning.

And there’s a little extra motivation waiting now. ❤️ Family have arrived in Corsica, ready to welcome them at the finish.

After everything this race has thrown at them, what a moment that will be.

One more night. One more big push. The finish line is getting closer.

Keep going, AIME! 🚴

Stronger together 🇨🇦🇺🇸. Teams 47 - Adventure Immersion Lab and 52 Electric Mayhem have been moving through the latter part of the course together - a bond made stronger through ice cream at TA10. #arwc2026 #corsicaismagic #arworldseries #adventureracing #worldchampionship

This is what adventure racing is all about! 🤝✨
As ARWC Day 6 pushes everyone to their limits, two incredible teams—Electric Mayhem and Adventure Immersion Lab—have officially joined forces on the course. They are moving together, sharing laughs, and keeping morale sky-high. Their joint mission now? Finishing strong and tackling the next stages together as one unstoppable unit. But first, their immediate strategic objective: tracking down some well-deserved Corsican ice cream! 🍦🔥 #arwc2026 #corsicaismagic #arworldseries #adventureracing #worldchampionship
