Me oh my, Beyond Palatable is officially OUT 💥

Craig and I are spending IWD wandering around Edinburgh in the sunshine popping into bookshops and spotting my book (MY BOOK WHAT?!) on the shelves of actual bookshops 🤯

And imagine turning a corner in Edinburgh's oldest bookshop and seeing my very own mug face blown up on the wall!

I've been busy writing articles for some of the UK's most prestigious media outlets. Look when I tell you publishing a book is no joke, this is what I'm talking about.

But what an honour to get to write about such important topics for such widely read publications.

Isn't it easy to forget how far you've come?

My little business that could is officially nine today. Nine years since we incorporated and I dove headfirst into business with someone i'd only just met.

Over the past nine years, we've worked with 100s businesses, 1000s of brilliant brains and in teams all over the world. We built our own team, too.

I've won awards, drank champagne in the House of Lords, published a book, made multiples of millions (total revenue over 9 years) and spoken on stages all over the UK.

I even got my Forbes featured accolade this year.

But the proudest thing for me by far is my relationship with @alice_reeves - the stranger with pink hair who I signed my life to.

We grew together, learned from each other and when the time came for us to go our separate ways and me to buy Alice out, we did so with love and are still firm friends now.

That is priceless by @electricpeachstudios

Guess what?! I made an entire human with my body and not only that, I safely transported her through the smallest of spaces with no medical intervention, reached into the waters of the birth pool and did a Simba and laughed my way through layers of stitching in my most private of regions.

There is no amount of propaganda that will convince me that women are anything other than warrior queens that deserve flowers thrown at our feet wherever we go.

We're back 💥 and this time, we're all 'bout getting paid for our brilliance.

I've been on mat leave for about 5 seconds and i'm already ping ponging with ideas.

I need to channel that energy somewhere before it blows up my brain, so i've been writing creatively again for the first time since I finished @beyondpalatable.

Naturally, I wanted to know which journals are accepting poems, essays and short stories.

Next in our series is places women and minoritised folks can get their creative writing published AND get paid for it. by @electricpeachstudios
