“The serotonin pours from sticky-sweet polyphonic synths and angular guitar grooves until the track starts mutating against itself.” Amelia Vandergast A&R FACTORY by @elegantchasers

BREAKING NEWS: A&R Factory HEADLINE REVIEW!
Thanks to everyone that has downloaded SELF-IMPLODE off of Bandcamp. In the meantime here’s a link to a fantastically written review by Amelia Vandergast:

“The Elegant Chasers’ latest earworm, which grooves from a mash-up of Mansun, Kula Shaker and Happy Mondays aesthetics into a gnarled visual depiction of what internal self-implosion should sound like.”

“The guitars sound like they have been tuned in the seventh circle of hell, and the middle eight ties the juxtaposition together with a soul-stealing guitar solo that introduces a Static-X-reminiscent outro.” https://www.anrfactory.com/self-implode-by-the-elegant-chasers-crashed-90s-indie-nostalgia-into-industrial-metal-catharsis/ by @elegantchasers

On the eve of my new release Sam Wright from @rgmmagazine offered up a glowing review: "Self-Implode is The Elegant Chasers' masterpiece to date... it's a genre bending, all action adventure. Raw and packed full of riffs!" Here's another snippet of the track featuring a heavy dose of my trusted CryBaby Wah pedal!

NEW ALBUM & NEW SINGLE ARTWORK: I can finally reveal that SELF-IMPLODE will be the first release off of my new album titled SONGS OF SELF-IMPLOSION which will see the light of day by the end of 2026. In the meantime check out the artwork for the first single. The concept is inspired around the classic hipgnosis albums from the late 60's,70's & 80's. All will be revealed in the coming months...
