Element Q Healing Center was built to be a safe, affirming space for LGBTQIA+ healing—where care is inclusive, identities are celebrated, and people are met with compassion and respect.

"I had such a wonderful experience at Element Q. It was very affirming to be in a space that is distinctly LGBTQIA+. I felt like I could bring all the parts of myself to the table.

I feel grateful that I was able to be in a program that blends process, psycho education, somatics, and acupuncture/Chinese medicine. It felt very balanced.

The staff are all empathic, kind, and compassionate. The bonds that I built with the other clients were deep and long-lasting. I highly recommend this program."

Stillness is healing too. Sound and somatic work give the body and nervous system room to settle, not just the mind.

At Element Q Healing Center, holistic modalities are woven alongside evidence-based clinical care, supporting healing across mind, body, and spirit.

"I’ve referred several clients to Element Q and have been very pleased with both the clinical outcomes and the collaborative process.

The staff are attuned to the realities faced by LGBTQIA+ individuals, and are excellent at maintaining thoughtful communication with outside providers when appropriate.

In particular, Dr. Shannon Franklin has been instrumental in bridging my clients into Element Q’s services and ensuring they are connected with the level of care they need.

Clients consistently describe feeling affirmed in their identities and supported in doing deeper trauma and recovery work. Element Q has become a trusted resource in the community."
