Our first stop, Estepona 🇪🇸🌊☀️ We ate everything (caught the red tuna in Barbate!), played on playgrounds and dipped our feet in the Mediterranean. Most importantly, we celebrated Mila’s 2nd birthday 🎉 🎂🥳

It both feels slow and fast. She’s running, has opinions, and tells pretty great stories imo in a mixture of Russian and English. photo dump of us in cape cod. filled with mornings in bathing suits (and birthday suits!), moments with the family and this baby girl 🍋 , and getting as much as possible of that glorious salty air 🌊

i wish this was every day of life 😭😍 but cherished these moments to their fullest - mostly by eating oysters and lobsters and bluefish as much as possible. taken in Cape Cod, Massachussets by @elenaguberman

Happy birthday my love - you’re 1️⃣🎉🥳

@storey.michael68 and I are enamored with this little human being. She’s evolved so much, and is now filled with [strong] opinions, smiles and curiosity.

There are easier days and others that are much more challenging. We wouldn’t be sane without the people that have helped support us over these months, our village. I get it now - you need a village in whatever form it takes.

Matrescence is wild. Birth and breastfeeding are such huge chapters for me. Then, you have to foster and empower and teach forevermore.

Thank you for making me a mom one year ago; I love you little Milachka Lemonchik 🍋❤️

baby girl lately. i just can’t get enough 🍋🥰

she’s super curious about all things and all foods, is still napping twice, waves hello and goodbye (very well mannered!), knows many words in English and Russian, loves to read and rip pages if given the opportunity, hangs out a lot with my parents, loves to sleep on us/with us, still sleeps in our bedroom (and often in our bed 🤷‍♀️❤️). she isn’t walking yet but can stand and assisted walk, loves to explore how objects are made, and is just incredible.

seeing her grow over the last 11.5 months has been wild. I’m still adjusting to my new role as mother, which has been its own unexpected identity challenge - but loving her is a gift ✨ taken in Bay Ridge by @elenaguberman

9 months of this little love ❤️🍋 happy birthday our sweet girl 🥳

waving, smiling, and laughing (only when things are truly funny - we don’t just give laughs away!) she’s pulling herself up, and maybe ready to get walking soon? there are two adorable 🦷 on the bottom and more on the top that are making their way through.

a great traveler, a lover of all food, inquisitive and a snuggle bug.

A snow day at @lovelandskiarea with a little love and a big love 🥰🥹

It was my first time on my board since before I was pregnant, and my pants felt too tight and my feet were killing me (plantar fasciitis still present!) But it was a gorgeous day, with no wind and I listened to Whitney Houston on a solo ride from the peak and it was glorious.

Spending February at our house in Colorado and breathing that fresh air at 10k feet elevation (which apparently is higher than Manchu Picchu 🤯)

It’s such a serene place where we are truly in the woods. We’re able to be with 🍋 and soak her up. It’s the smallest she’ll ever be and the biggest she’s ever been - I keep repeating that in my head!

Sledding was fun. We sledded too much one day and she legit fell asleep the second we picked her up 😂😆

Month 6 on planet Earth. She’s sitting, is very observant and smiling more and more. We went out to dinner, took long walks and went to visit Aunt @cbm in CT for birthday celebrations 🎉 This morning she reached for my finger to help her sit up and my heart melted.

Every day I look at her in awe.

Is parenthood a constant worry and joy at the same time? Because that’s how I feel. Just an overwhelming desire for everything to be ok - for her ❤️ by @elenaguberman
