This is a song about a singing contest between a girl named Dragana and a nightingale. If the nightingale wins, he gets to cut Dragana’s hair. If Dragana wins, she gets to cut the Nightingale’s wings. In the end, Dragana outsings the nightingale, but she has mercy and lets the nightingale fly away to his family. Because it is enough to have outsung the nightingale. #folklore #harmony #birdsong #bulgarian #choir by @elenatheodora

I spent my 2 weeks off in Europe walking from Portugal >> Spain, 240km ≈150 miles. I met amazing people from around the world, saw beautiful rural scenery, smelled eucalyptus and mint, swam in 10 bodies of water, and I’m really good at walking now! 🥾Buen Camino! taken in Santiago de Compostela, Spain by @elenatheodora
