POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

someday
gold will spill from our cups,

soiling my dress
like the desert rain

i can’t be mad;
this is what i prayed for

a love that crushes me,
not in defeat but in temperance

a slow
chemical degradation
that unbinds us from our stories

this is how i’ve yearned for you—-

an ancient remembering,
like rain that has longed for the earth

here is where the lovers awaken:

not to possession,
but recognition

to the chemical dance of becoming
whole

where two streams recognize
they have been running to the same sea.

this dance is not for the weak.
it’s the blueprint for those
willing to breathe into the mystery

for the lovers are born from the moment of remembering:

and temperance,
is the slow pouring,
—the sacred measure—
the golden web spun from the dark.

born from mist

with dancing dewdrops rolling down my face,

from the very beginning,
my heart has yearned to be swallowed by the sea—

a passion that belongs to those who dare to seek.

twisted within a current of sound,

i make my way
to where the waters whisper

a dance for the ones who loved so deeply
they no longer know where they end—
—not lost
just scattered across lifetimes of love

here in the language of longing,
steel becomes silk
and i, beautifully undone—
whirling in the dance of devotion

what do you call this vibe? 🪬

🫀 .*• here’s a clip of our last performance at the @hopmonksebastopol during our NorCal run. it’s been an honor sharing the stage with @mahzetar & @dros_music and learning beside them.

i’m so grateful for the ability to share these ancient melodies as a living, evolving expressions of culture and memory. through music and dance, we mend worlds and hearts—-honoring those who’ve walked the path before us
or those who haven’t been able to—while allowing something new to emerge through.

in this meeting of ancient and future, i feel the reminder that culture is not static — it breathes, transforms, and survives through our connection to each other.

together through our joy, grief, and love we witness how art can soften the illusions of separation and challenge the systems that ask us to forget our shared humanity.

the horse is the spirit of freedom in motion.
it moves like thunder across earth—
unbound,fearless—shattering illusion,
revealing truth like lighting from the heavens.

from the embers of the coiled snake, the fire horse arises.
what was hidden now burns in the open.
what was gestating in silence is born through flame, rebellion, and sacred initiation.

that which was once felt, weighed, or quietly prepared is no longer permitted to linger.

fire quickens all things.

the inner spark becomes a living torch—
illuminating the path of destiny,
a single star set ablaze withn the vast cosmic sea.

let intensity consecrate the spirit.
emotions transmuted.
passion becomes fuel.

the old threashold is crossed.

what was whispered in the year of the snake,
now resounds in the year of the horse.

mount the fire.

.*•

dancing in silk drapes,
bathed by the milk of the moon
awakened by the songs of our angels near

red roses
and silver mirrors—
we were shown the path that spirals into the unknown

entering shadows breath
we cast aside our crowns

no name
no story
deeper and deeper we fell

hands clutching our fading silks,
twisting and turning
gasping for the song of return—
nothing could save us but our sweet surrender

now our wounds became the starlit scars
and our hearts, the anointed ash of love

ten thousand whispers rose—
through the gates we go
like red blood remembering it’s pulse
—the goddess is calling from below

*• to dance is to gather the forgotten pieces.

in the sway of hips
and spiraling belly’s,
we speak for those who have been silenced.

across deserts and seas,
across centuries of suppression,
the body remembers what the voice was forbidden to say.

when we dance, we never dance alone.
we move for the women who could not,
for the voices hushed
for the stories deemed unknown.

like the goddess ausset (isis), who gathered what was broken and gave it breath again.
we too dance to resurrect—
to remember, to reclaim, to speak without speaking.

every circle,
every step,
is a prayer for the silent ones.

and for the divine feminine rising in us all.
