I forgot I didn’t post this. I made this last December as a homage to my freshman year craziness and what felt like near death ness. I can’t elaborate much but something about constructing with my hands what I constantly thought about was a bit alleviating because, in a meta way, there is so much control instilled in me as the artist. When what I’m depicting used to have control over me. Reclaiming power or something. Idk #sculpture by @elimin_te

Painting of the significant other clubbing. Abstractly depicts dancing in bg. I thought of industrial music and our mutual enjoyment of it when making this— thus the color palette (Kmfdm-esque). I found it really fun to not only paint them but paint something related to them; their interests, to a degree. If I had more time I’d accessorize them but I couldn’t really in just two days so I opted for a black outfit and choker. Me and my friend Madeleine (it was my idea and then her demand to execute) carried this palette from some restaurant’s trash, probably 5 blocks up and 3 blocks east back to the Cooper Union. It’s probably the closest I’ll ever feel to marine boot camp, in terms of struggle and camaraderie, until I actually attend the CU by @elimin_te

Similar meaning as that last post as both pieces began within a week of each other so I was still stuck on the thought. This piece isn’t “done” but I’ll be surprised if I ever get back to it so here it is
