What if water was your teacher? Water teaches us that movement doesn’t need to feel forced. It can shape, support, redirect, and reveal. As the guṇas, the ever-changing qualities of nature, continue to shift within and around us… activity, heaviness, clarity… practice becomes a space to notice, respond, and recalibrate. To move with life… with a little more awareness, a little more softness, and a little more trust in what is already moving within. For the past few weeks, we’ve been building this sequence from the ground up—breath by breath, layer by layer. From exploring structure, stability, and embodied awareness. This Saturday, May 9, we continue our evolution through the lens of Motion of Serenity 💙 @bellapranayoga Inspired by the changing qualities of nature and the intelligence of water. Perhaps we pause long enough to ask: Nature is always moving… are we listening? Come explore the next layer. @lifebalancedyoga @elisa.dotyoga by @elisa.dotyoga
💀 This year we will be celebrating Dia de los Muertos at The Collective! 💐Our instructor Elisa Congelio and her family have invited us to celebrate this Mexican Holiday about the Celebration of Life. 🇲🇽 We feel this holiday encompasses the 8 Limbs of Yoga in so many beautiful ways. Who will you carry in your heart this Sunday? Día de los Muertos invites us to remember those who have shaped us—and celebrate the love that continues through us. I created this experience as a space to move, soften, and feel connected. Through meditation, gentle yin shapes, an energizing flow, and rest by candlelight, we’ll make room for grief, gratitude, and joy to exist together. You’re invited to bring a photo or small meaningful item for our shared ofrenda, honoring someone whose memory you wish to carry into the practice. My intention is to help you set down the weight of grief long enough to feel the light. Come exactly as you are. Nothing more, nothing less. Sunday, November 1 · 1:30–3 PM Bella Prana · $35 Reserve your space at bellaprana.com/event OR use link in bio. Big thank you to @masterfletch for your creative genius 📸🎞️ by @elisa.dotyoga
Sometimes, we see a little of ourselves in one another. 🧘🏻‍♀️❤️🧘🏻‍♀️ Two mats facing each other, sharing movement, breath, and a few smiles along the way. There's something beautiful about practicing this way. We may mirror each other's movements, but we each bring our own experiences, our own rhythms, and our own way of being. And perhaps that's part of what makes connection so meaningful. We recognize something familiar in one another while making space for all that makes us different. A little reminder of our shared humanness, and how much we can learn from each other. Grateful for moments like these @bellapranayoga @elisa.dotyoga 🥰🫶🏻 by @elisa.dotyoga
Here’s to Action > Questioning. To choosing purpose over fear, freedom over certainty, and the vulnerability to live fully while we are here. A time to live. A time to love. A time to remember. Día de los Muertos reminds us that while all life changes form, love leaves an imprint. Through movement and stillness, darkness and light, we create a place for grief to exist and memory to come alive—to capture the essence of those who shaped us and carry it forward. They say grief is love with nowhere to go. Here, we give it un lugar—a place. Not to erase the sadness, but to lift its weight long enough to feel the light—and learn how to carry both. To remember. To celebrate. To carry their legacy within the fabric of who we are. May we cherish the connection, no matter how it changes form. And, most of all, may we remember. “To everything, there is a season.” “Move a muscle, change a thought.” “Remember who you are.” “To thine own self be true.” Wisdom passed down. Truths lived. Actions carried forward. Lokāḥ samastāḥ sukhino bhavantu. May all beings, in all realms, be happy, peaceful, and free. Shoutout to: @bellapranayoga for creating the space, the invitation and the love to share part of my heritage & family @dianefieldsphotography 📸 @masterfletch 📸for pulling through on this project 🙏🏽 by @elisa.dotyoga
Celebrate Día de Los Muertos with us! 💀 A SPECIAL EVENT November 1st - Elisa Congelio ✨ will lead you as she honors her personal heritage through the theme of Día de los Muertos. 🌼 This special class experience is a 90-minute curated practice using movement and stillness to honor the celebration of Día de los Muertos, a holiday that celebrates the full cycle of life. 🌗 Explore the balance of opposing energies, softness and strength, stillness and motion, darkness and light, mirroring the duality that defines the essence of the holiday: a time to honor what has passed while celebrating what continues to live and breathe within us. 📿 The experience begins with meditation and intention setting, and gently flow into non-active, yin-style shapes that ground the body and quiet the mind. The journey continues into an empowering, heat-generating sequence designed to awaken radiance and vitality, before finishing with an extended rest surrounded by candlelight and reflection. 🌔 Each phase honors the rhythm of transformation: from stillness to energy, from release to renewal, embracing the wholeness that exists only when both sides of the spectrum are acknowledged and celebrated. We end the same way we begin, just as the natural circle of life is. ✅ Sign up on our workshops page at the link in our bio! #diadelosmuertos #diadelosmuertostampa #bellaprana #bellapranacollective #bellapranayoga by @elisa.dotyoga
Are we moving from fear, habit, expectation, or a clearer understanding of what matters? Discernment asks us to question, to look beyond our first reaction, and to recognize that what feels familiar isn't always what serves us. We may not know where a path will lead, but we can become more conscious of what guides our next step. Because the direction of our lives is shaped not only by the choices we make, but by the awareness we bring to making them . 🤍 @bellapranayoga @elisa.dotyoga (The direction of our lives is shaped not only by the choices we make, but also by the clarity and awareness we bring to choosing our path. Sharing this reflection as a translation of the words in the video, and something to carry into our next practice on the mat.) #saucha #santosha #yogatapas #svadyaya #ishvarapranidhana by @elisa.dotyoga
What if separation is something we perceive, rather than what we are? I've been thinking about how easily we get caught up in our thoughts, beliefs, and experiences. How the mind creates this sense of being separate, and how often we forget to question it. I love the image of waves in the ocean. Each wave has its own shape, movement, and expression, yet it has never been separate from the ocean. Perhaps our practice gives us a little space to notice this. Moving through Skandāsana, Cobra, Wild Thing, and the transitions in between, we experience different shapes and sensations while exploring the awareness that remains present through it all. A special thank you to @elisa.dotyoga and @taylorrferguson for sharing the beautiful mantra *Om Namaḥ Śivāya* and planting the seed for next week's practice. 🎁🥰 Grateful for your friendship and all the ways we continue to learn and grow together, on and off the mat. Rooted in the Hindu tradition, *Om Namaḥ Śivāya* means “I bow to Shiva.” In certain yogic traditions, Shiva is understood as the consciousness underlying all existence. One more beautiful perspective to explore through our practice @bellapranayoga to learn, experience, and share together. Om Namaḥ Śivāya 😘🙏 #OmNamahShivaya #YogaPhilosophy #YogaBeyondAsana #YogaPractice #TampaYoga by @elisa.dotyoga
Handstand as a laboratory of awareness. 🤍 A place to explore trust and doubt, effort and ease, old holding patterns and new possibilities. One concept at a time, we build understanding. One attempt at a time, we build confidence. And somewhere in the process, we begin to notice that we have choices. ONE BREATH AT A TIME. What may look like the practice of a physical skill can become something much deeper... a place to study how we respond, where our attention goes, what we believe, and what becomes possible when we choose differently. Perhaps that is where transformation begins: learning to redirect our attention with intention, and allowing that awareness to shape our thoughts, words, and actions in the direction of greater clarity and peace. So grateful for everyone who came to @bellapranayoga explore, play, learn, and try again with me. And a special thank you to @elisa.dotyoga and @kpeaaa two beautiful teachers whose presence, knowledge, and care helped create a space where everyone could explore with a little more confidence and support. So grateful to have shared the room and the teaching with you both. by @elisa.dotyoga
The beautiful ways you continue to share Taylor’s love and story truly mean the world to us. Recently, Elisa hosted a yoga class in honor of Taylor, complete with a playlist inspired by her spirit. It was a meaningful time to come together, move together, and remember Taylor. Here’s what Elisa shared about the class: “I have to tell you Taylor came through in class. I’ve never seen anything like it - PEOPLE LITERALLY STARTED FULL OUT DANCING, LAUGHING, SINGING—- I MEAN PURE JOY, NO CARE IN THE WORLD. It was not only powerful but was the most unique class I have ever had. That was not a coincidence. I opened my book that I often read quotes to my classes. I had chills …. There’s no doubt that Taylor’s presence shaped the experience of the individuals in the room.” by @elisa.dotyoga
