⚠️ Aviso que no he recortado nada de este vídeo, son 7’ 🤓🎬🎞️🎥🍿 Actuación en Madrid Swing Exchange llamada • “RED” • • Yo quería hacerle un homenaje al duelo; “la pérdida, la tristeza y el amor.” Desde mi intimidad. A veces incluso los sueños son duelos. • La resistencia es el último aliento en homenaje de lo que hemos vivido. Querría hablar más sobre lo que significa para mí este color rojo y porqué para mí el Blues no siempre es de color azul. También sobre la dualidad del propio duelo y su esperanza y lucha por sobrevivir pese a ser consciente de su muerte anunciada, pero añadir más palabras en redes sociales es a veces, no sé, siento que pierde el valor y el significado y parte de la belleza de descubrirlo en el lugar al que pertenece; El escenario. Quizás en otro momento y en otro lugar más analógico 😛😜❤️ lo pueda desarrollar mejor (cosa que me gustaría mucho) como elemento artístico, poético, escénico. De momento dejo aquí esta danza que para mí fue un Blues rojo. • El maravilloso poema del que parto pertenece a la poeta Wislawa Szymborska y se llama “Nada sucede dos veces” • Y los grandes músicos con los que tuve el honor de sentir el escenario fueron los @sentimental_gentlemen_jazz a quienes agradezco enormemente su escucha y sensibilidad para captar lo que yo quería expresar y respetar el concepto y melodía y ritmo que yo necesitaba para representar este color rojo. Sentí que la música era poesía poderosa mientras bailaba y eso para mí fue un regalo indescriptible… y también el motor para seguir contándolo. • Gracias @madridswingexchange por invitarme a hacer el Show que yo quisiera y la oportunidad de hacerlo allí mismo en conversación con la música en vivo. 🍀🍀🍀 • Gracias @socialswingtv y @angelydeandradee y su equipo por su grabación y por la ayuda de edición a @lepanke • Renacer desde la caída de la cuerda rota del equilibrista es una hazaña más grande que haber podido cruzar la cuerda sin romperse. Y como dijo Borges “Entre las cosas hay una. De la que no se arrepiente. Nadie en la tierra. Esa cosa. Entre diagonales y desequilibrios exigentes, vuelvo a tomar el control de mis manos, garabateo hasta formar deseos. Entre golpes y gritos escondidos, despierto al instinto de la tierra. ¿Cómo poder describir los gritos que se aspiran hacia adentro? Son los ecos del silencio que se llaman a sí mismos y retumban entre el esternón y la columna vertebral, entre el corazón y el aliento. Ya no me inquieta futuro alguno en realidad nunca me fue relevante un futuro calibrado. Quiero la simple y pura palabra vivir. Hey dancers & music lovers! 🤍✨ Como ya he ido anunciando, día 7 de noviembre hago una sesión especial como inauguración e introducción a mi proyecto E=MC^2 JAZZ LAB FORMATION. Y estoy sumamente ilusionada y literalmente sin creerme nada de todo esto! poder compartirlo ya con todo el mundo que sienta que le apetece acompañarme o formar parte de esta aventura ! En esta inauguración me gustaría expresar y compartir lo que significa para mí este proyecto y también a modo informativo todo lo que está por venir a nivel de formación y programación cultural. También tendremos la suerte de estar en compañía de artistas invitadas/os : @anitaflore.1 @aiala_mendizabal @mafemartin @fuentes.mario @danielegramauta (os los presento en los siguientes carteles‼️) que vendrán a contribuir desde su visión artística y profesional, pero, sobre todo, desde su visión personal e íntima. Compartirán su manera de entender, sentir y vivir la música y el baile, siempre en relación con las raíces del jazz. Y quiero abrir paso a un encuentro en un mismo espacio creativo y de unión. Todo lo que vamos a compartir estará relacionado con el jazz, sus raíces y la historia de las danzas y la música afroamericana. Nos acercaremos a todo ello desde un lugar de observador, de curiosidad, de explorador y, sobre todo, desde el lugar de quien ama algo y lo cuida. Haremos un recorrido juntos para encontrar puntos de conexión entre lo que estamos viendo, lo que estamos escuchando y lo que estamos sintiendo personalmente. Por eso, para mí es tan importante, antes de comenzar esta formación, entrar en un contexto, acercarnos a sus raíces, a su historia y a todo aquello que nos ayudará a comprender y sentir lo que vamos a aprender. Espero de corazón que vengáis y que podamos compartir juntos este comienzo. La entrada es completamente gratuita, con la posibilidad de hacer una aportación voluntaria al proyecto para quien lo desee. Pero las plazas son limitadas! I’m beyond excited and, honestly, still can’t quite believe any of this is happening! I’m feeling so many things at once, and I’m incredibly happy to finally share it with everyone who feels like joining me or becoming part of this adventure! During this opening event, I’d love to express and share what this project means to me, as well as introduce everything that’s coming in terms of training and cultural programming. We’ll also be lucky enough to be joined by some wonderful guest artists: @anitaflore @aialamendizabal @mafemartin @fuentes.mario @danielegrammauta (I’ll introduce them in the next slides‼️) They’ll be contributing their artistic and professional perspectives, but above all, their personal and intimate ones. They’ll share their own ways of understanding, feeling, and experiencing music and dance, always in connection with the roots of jazz. And I’d love to create space for an encounter where we can all come together in a shared atmosphere of creativity and connection. It will be a warm, family-friendly event where we can enjoy a first introduction to everything we’ll be exploring and learning throughout this formation. Everything we’ll share will be connected to jazz, its roots, and the history of African American dance and music. We’ll approach all of this from a place of observation, curiosity, and exploration, but above all, from the perspective of someone who loves something and takes care of it. Together, we’ll go on a journey to find points of connection between what we’re seeing, what we’re hearing, and what we’re personally feeling. That’s why, for me, it’s so important, before beginning this formation, to establish a context, to connect with its roots, its history, and everything that will help us understand and feel what we’re about to learn. I truly hope you’ll join us and that we can share this beginning together. Admission is completely free, with the option to make a voluntary contribution to support the project if you wish. E=MC² JAZZ LAB FORMATION — INAUGURAL PROGRAMME We’re starting from the beginning. From the roots. From listening, discovering, talking, moving, learning how to listen — and, above all, sharing. This inaugural programme is an invitation to step into Jazz from its foundations: its music, history, groove, culture and movement vocabulary. And everyone is welcome. 🤍✨ It doesn’t matter how much you already know, how many Jazz steps you have in your vocabulary, or how much experience you have. This is not about proving what you know. It’s about coming together to share, learn and grow. If you come from another dance style — especially from the urban dance community — this is an invitation to discover where groove lives in Jazz, to listen to the music, explore its history and culture, and experience Jazz Roots vocabulary from the ground up. And if Jazz is already part of your journey, come to revisit, deepen, expand and share what you know — perhaps from a different perspective. Because going back to the basics doesn’t necessarily mean learning something new. Sometimes it means revisiting what we know, sharing it differently, and returning Jazz to the place where it belongs: its roots. This first programme is about knowledge, yes — but even more than that, it is about community, connection and unity. Come as you are. Come with what you know. Come curious. Let’s listen, move, share and learn together.
