I ran a half marathon!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😁

Thank youuu to everyone who took the time to record or send me messages of encouragement before & during the race. It meant sooo much to hear from friends/fam all around the world 💙

At this point a year ago, I was at my lowest mentally, and never had I ever fathomed running even a mile. Since I started running six months ago, this sport has allowed me to prove to myself that I am strong and capable, and this race proved just how great the community I have behind me is :)

I am so grateful for a body and mind that is capable of carrying me through this race and the months of training. TYJ!!! 💪🏼 taken in Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon by @elisepoos

Friends became family, and this school became home. @uwmadison, thank you for it all. From Langdon to the Kohl Center and everywhere in between — UW was more than I ever imagined. Forever grateful, forever a Badger. 🍾♥️🎓 #onwisconsin taken in University of Wisconsin-Madison by @elisepoos
