My new fin !🌈 Rainbow to remind me of my roots-home & birthplace Byron Bay and all of its aray of people + creative colourfulness 💜 Growing up here before it boomed it wasn’t about wealth, it was about accepting all of the quirky, creative and different community & travellers that created its uniqueness. Nowadays I’ve watched countless people come through start up a business, use its name for branding and begin to gentrify it towards the genericness of the place they’ve come - absentmindedly forgetting the reason of why this place has became loved by so many..My salute of hope & reminder of homes colour, soul, community and ecosystems that I hope remain important and have shaped a massive part of who I am today.🕊️ by @elisetrigger
