Open a new matcha tin with me 106💚 @yumenomatcha

Today I’m using Shikibu from Yamamasa Koyamaen — deep, rich flavour with strong umami and a beautifully full-bodied finish. Exactly how I like my matcha.

How to make it extra creamy >>>
Swap the water and whisk it with soy milk instead 🤍

I barely had to whisk and it turned out sooo smooth and velvety… honestly next level creamy.

Add ice and your preferred sweetener after whisking, give it a little stir, and enjoy 🧊✨

Thanks @yumenomatcha so much for sending this to me 🍵💌

ELITE PEACE Coconut Matcha Refresher:
Elevating Your Matcha Moments
Ingredients (1 Serving): · 2 g Matcha Powder ·
30 ml Hot water (70-80°C) ·
200 ml Chilled Coconut Water ·
50 ml Milk(Plant-based or dairy, Optional) ·
Ice (Fill the glass to your preference) Steps to prepare your Coconut Matcha Refresher Matcha Preparation
Step 1: Soak the bamboo whisk in warm water for 30-60 seconds to soften it.
Step 2: Measure 2 full scoops (approximately 2 grams) of matcha powder using the bamboo scoop and place it on the tea sifter.
Step 3: Sift the matcha into the ceramic bowl using the tea sifter to remove clumps.
Step 4: Add 30 ml of hot water at 70-80° C to the bowl. Whisk the matcha in a quick zigzag motion (M or W shape) until smooth and frothy. Making the Coconut Matcha Refresher
Step 5: Fill a glass with ice and pour 200 ml of chilled coconut water into the glass. Gently pour the whisked matcha over the coconut water to create a layered effect.
Step 6: For a creamier texture, add 50 ml of milk (plant-based or dairy). Stir gently until fully combined, or skip the milk and just stir to combine. Sweeten to taste if desired.
Helpful Hints Don't Overheat: Quality Matters: Use ceremonial-grade matcha for the smoothest taste and vibrant green colour. If you don't have a smart kettle, let boiled water sit for 7-10 minutes or add a small amount of cold water to reach 70-80°C.
