my very first LARP @deliverance_larp ~ accompanied by the lovely @eliza.jaee
what i thought was a new photography endeavor, turned into something i want to experience more of - commUnity.

a homestead, tucked away in Leroy, MI, is being transformed into an immersive world. each event themed from different eras. optional sparring and mock fights. farm-fresh meals following historical accuracy. a tavern offering nourishment. and its constantly growing.

it gives me goosebumps knowing i get to capture this growing community ~ @madsformanphotography

moral of this experience::
apparently the LARP world is for me. and i couldnt have asked for two better people to introduce me to it~ @torvi_theshieldmaiden & @eyolf.thewanderer thank you both so much for hosting us❣️
and thank you, eliza, for joining me on such an epic journey⚔️ i appreciate your willingness to jump in and experience this together for the first time. thank you for all the "behind the scenes" content and shots. i'm entirely grateful for your existence<3

yea so a couple weeks ago, we were cleaning a house and found a baby bird that fell from its nest. sooooo we did some research and its a myth that the mom will abandon her nest if touched by human hands.

and since we were on a very limited time-crunch, we took matters into our own hands❣️✨ taken in Michigan by @eliza.jaee

life lately ✨🌿

so much has changed! my path shifted in ways i didn’t expect, and i’ve grown a lot along the way. i’m grateful for the lessons, rerouting, and version of myself i’m still becoming 🌀

lately i’ve been learning to slow down, nurture myself, and make room for play. to try without the perfect plan, without already being good at it, & without letting the little voice in my head stop me from beginning.

i’ve had so much fun bouncing between creative outlets - probably the most sagittarius thing about me lol. jewelry making && sewing have had my heart lately, especially turning thrifted materials into something new!! starting over, changing my mind, and letting it be fun instead of perfect!!! my virgo moon is struggling lmfao 😮‍💨

photography has always been part of me too. i’ve loved taking pictures since i was little, finding beauty in people, places, colors, and tiny details, then capturing it for others to notice too. i’m finding my way back to that part of myself, so i definitely see more of it in my future 📸 @elizajaephotography

wildsprout has become a little gift to myself, a name and space for my ideas, experiments, and dreams. nothing has to be perfectly figured out, just a place for my creative ideas && curiosity to grow 🌱 @wildsprout.made

i’ve been reconnecting with nature && loving life as a bird mom to my sweet flock. they bring me happiness, noise, laughter, and so much love 🥹🦜

more than anything, i’m grateful for my people and the love, laughter, support, and commUNITY they bring me. so many people i love aren’t pictured here; this is only a tiny glimpse of my life lately.

we’re living through such a dark and surreal time, and sometimes it feels strange to share ordinary joys, but those joys matter too. hug your people close, say “i love you,” be kind to yourself, let yourself play, make something imperfect, take the picture, go outside, && notice what is still beautiful. keep paying attention, care for this planet and your community, make your voice heard, vote for the changes YOU want to see, && show up.
