my very first LARP @deliverance_larp ~ accompanied by the lovely @eliza.jaee
what i thought was a new photography endeavor, turned into something i want to experience more of - commUnity.

a homestead, tucked away in Leroy, MI, is being transformed into an immersive world. each event themed from different eras. optional sparring and mock fights. farm-fresh meals following historical accuracy. a tavern offering nourishment. and its constantly growing.

it gives me goosebumps knowing i get to capture this growing community ~ @madsformanphotography

moral of this experience::
apparently the LARP world is for me. and i couldnt have asked for two better people to introduce me to it~ @torvi_theshieldmaiden & @eyolf.thewanderer thank you both so much for hosting us❣️
and thank you, eliza, for joining me on such an epic journey⚔️ i appreciate your willingness to jump in and experience this together for the first time. thank you for all the "behind the scenes" content and shots. i'm entirely grateful for your existence<3

wanna join us in October for the Winternights weekend? check out @deliverance_larp and go to their website - link in their bio🔗
i'll be there as a photographer @madsformanphotography
eliza will also be a photographer @eliza.jaee
and @triplemoonpulse will be fire performing for us❤️‍🔥

yea so a couple weeks ago, we were cleaning a house and found a baby bird that fell from its nest. sooooo we did some research and its a myth that the mom will abandon her nest if touched by human hands.

and since we were on a very limited time-crunch, we took matters into our own hands❣️✨

i almost didnt want to give a tribute to 2024. surface level:: she was cruel to me. i felt a lot of suffering. clawing. digging my way, trying to make it out alive. "why me, why me, why me?"

ive come to realize, i was not a victim but a student. the year of the dragon drowned me in flames of lessons, burning bridges, and utter chaos. there is beauty within that. & im 444ever grateful to breathe and learn this life.

i felt as though valentines is the perfect day to send off 2024 with only love.
love for the walls i put up.
love for all the huemans i met.
love for all the tears n anger n hurt.
love for myself, when i felt my lowest.
love for the isolation n desensitization.
love for making it out alive.

2025 has only been full of standing on business,, and i have to thank 2024 for that. molding me. shrinking me. ripping me open all over again. the death & rebirth of mySelf.

thank you for being here, for seeing me, for supporting me. what a trip yall~

PS- 20 slides is not enough to show off all the moments that bring me true smiles n joy

🎃🍂26🍁🍃
"The greatest thing you'll ever learn, is just to love and be loved in return." This year I find my life yet again changing with the leaves, and I am all the better for it.
