Actually no idea if ‘starting from scratch’ works better for the algorithm, but oh well, slow and steady is good especially as I’m still having fun trying things out! 🤩

Come for Grandpa Joe’s cooking (@grandpajoecooks 👨🏻‍🍳) and stay for the story of how meeting Mike’s parents made me realise he could be “the one” for me 🥹❤️

Hi, I’m Ella 👋 A mum and creative figuring life out in my 30s, with good food, new hobbies, and little yaps along the way. If you’re enjoying being a beginner despite occasionally hating it, come along!

What’s something you’re learning that looked MUCH easier before you tried it? 😂 Editing tutorial recommendations are very welcome!

For me, it’s making videos! I’m getting comfortable posting imperfect ones and setting aside two hours a week to learn. Because my saved tutorials folder is thriving… but that’s not quite the same thing as practising.

They say dreams do come true… and I believe them 🥹

Though funnily, back then the only thing on my vision board was my dream of being a doctor.. specifically becoming a plastic surgeon 👩🏻‍⚕️💖

Becoming a mum was more like a secret dream I didn’t really dare to dream out loud back then.. 🤭

I never really thought about getting married, just focused on my studies (ishhh and having fun!) 🙇🏻‍♀️ but somewhere during medical school, I really struggled with my mental health and had to take a break.. and around the same time, I also met Mike… 👀💕

So it turns out that life had different plans for me, I ended up getting married right after uni 😬 and 6 years later, after a series of adventures and career pivots, that secret dream of being a mummy actually came true ✨

Sooo I guess this is a little reminder to just try your best while believing that what is meant to be, will be? 😌

Not sure if anyone is reading this haha but lately I feel like I wanna share more about my story.. no idea what format yet, but let’s see! 💖
