An ode to an ordinary day in the ptarmigan dining room.

One day when at work, I looked over at the server stand and noticed my coworkers order page. I could hardly read it, let alone understand what the guests were ordering. Yet, he entered it into the system with speed and precision. The order was perfect. This inspired me to collect the pages of the other servers in the restaurant too.

In doing so, I found that while we all use the same check books and interpret the same menu in the same dinning room- they are all so beautifully different! Some are colorful, some have scribbles, doodles, stars. Some neat and some barely legible

I found this quite beautiful. It helps to remind me that everyone approaches life from different point of view. After all, if everyone viewed life the same way- we wouldn’t have the beauty of uniqueness!

So, I though I would share with you the beauty of the ordinary server book :) taken in Ptarmigan Dining Room by @ellakthomas
