Discovering more in life one story at a time. Author. Dreamer.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Hey guys, this is my proof of life post featuring my gorgeous Maine Coon, Maz.

Life has been WILD for the last month or so. Three back to back trips. Three different book submissions. Beta reading for friends. Pre-marital counseling. Weddings. Conferences. An increase with some testing for my kids in their school. Oh, and I went back to college too. 👀❤️🤦🏻‍♀️

So I’ve been reading or writing on the daily—fiction and non-fiction—while some days having a minimum of 2 meetings. Long days, like yesterday, 4!

But I’m still going and looking forward to some of these things to slow down in the next few weeks.

What are you all up to this fall?

What’s the best surprise you’ve ever pulled off? Mine was driving 9 hours across the state to surprise my mom for her 70th birthday!

Today was amazing, and I’ll never forget her reaction. (Swipe for video) ❤️😭🎉 by @elleannbrown

My Maine coon, Maz, has found a new place she loves to lay. I think that means she’s interested in reading my book! 😉

“Bleak, poignant, and powerful. A dark imagining of an all-too-possible future. Elle Ann Brown’s storytelling is phenomenal!”
-Danielle Harrington, bestselling author of The Hollis Timewire Series (@djharringtonwriter )

“If you liked the Divergent Series or Hunger Games, pick this book up. You won’t be disappointed.” -ARC reader review

Imagine my surprise when I saw Amazon is doing a free promotion on my YA Dystopian Short Story Prequel (whoo, that’s a mouthful!)

Go get your copy now; I’m not sure how long it will be free. It also has a THREE CHAPTER sneak peek at THE STACKS, a YA Dystopian for fans of Hunger Games and Divergent.

Not quite UGC but thought it was fun so why not post it! I’m learning I LOVE editing so I may have gone overboard. But I show all my videos to my daughters and they thought this one was awesome so no one else’s opinions matter at that point. 🤣

Now, go buy these books. They’re quick, easy reads that you’ll love!!

It’s my birthday!! I want to celebrate with you by putting my last two releases on sale! 😉🎉🎂🥳🎊

If you like sweet romcoms featuring tropes like grumpy/sunshine, starting over, fake dating, and found family, you’ll love Bake Me Happy and Trading My Way To You.

Anyone else record content and forget to make a reel for 2 months? No, just me? 🤦🏻‍♀️

Anyway, found this cute Free Little Library outside or a brunch spot.

Have you read Trading My Way To You yet?

Check out what this reviewer had to say:
“Oh my GOODNESS, I wasn’t expecting such an AMAZING BOOK. I absolutely LOVED the storyline that Elle created with the bartering up and used that to get her characters into a fun relationship! 😁 The story was so engaging, as well as FUN. I whole heartly loved it, abd enjoyed every moment!! 5☆☆☆☆☆ for sure!!”

I did it.

New goal: don’t check multiple times a day for the next 12-14 weeks. (Of course I’m hoping to hear back sooner, but that probably isn’t too smart.)

It’s crazy how nervous you can get just clicking a button. 🤦🏻‍♀️😂🫠
