On Friday, a true spiritual father to me went on to his reward.

During Buster’s time in Alabama, Colima, New Mexico, and Texas, and more, he impacted people around the world. I remember being in Ukraine in 2015 and telling people that my pastor was George Russell from the U.S., and you would have thought I said I had been under the ministry of the Apostle Paul.

Buster’s race may be over, but his ministry continues today. I am a product of that ministry.

Buster, you taught me to value the power of the Holy Spirit and revival. You showed me firsthand how to stand by someone with a calling on their life, no matter what life throws at them. You walked me through the darkest season of my life, when others said I should step down from ministry.

You walked me through my vows with an incredible woman who was raised under your ministry. You dedicated my first two children to Jesus; today, they both love Jesus and serve in ministry. We traveled to revival services together. We ate the best food. We laughed together. We cried together. We experienced God’s power together.

You allowed me to share from your platform and to minister under your watch. The 11 years I served under you were some of the most formative years of my life—not only as a minister, but as a follower of Christ.

I remember you coming and sitting in my office, weeping after the loss of your grandchild. I remember watching you walk through the pain of losing a son. I remember watching you endure many trials. I watched you stay solid amid tremendous scrutiny from those who were critical of you. Through it all, you were a model of resilience.

G. Austin Russell, it was an honor to serve you. We always told you to write a book about all your adventures with God. I guess that book would have been incomplete, because so many of us became part of those adventures.

Your race is finished, but your ministry lives on in us. Thank you for a life well spent! Well done sir.

Not quite UGC but thought it was fun so why not post it! I’m learning I LOVE editing so I may have gone overboard. But I show all my videos to my daughters and they thought this one was awesome so no one else’s opinions matter at that point. 🤣

Now, go buy these books. They’re quick, easy reads that you’ll love!!

Your love. Your leadership. Your passion. Your poise. Your laugh. Your smile. Your…..nucleus.

@elleannbrown there is truly no one like you. We’ve been married most of your life and I witness your prime year unfold every year.
Crazy that perfection gets better with time!?

Thank you for being my girl.
Love you.

My greatest privilege and joy in this life.

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭27‬:‭4‬, ‭8‬ ‭NIV‬‬
“One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple. My heart says of you, “Seek his face!” Your face, Lord, I will seek.”

Welp that’s a wrap for The Brown’s Group. I made an intentional thing this year that I was going to get move involved. Fellowship, pray, celebrate and enjoy life together. Conversation, laughter, tears and talks. Until next group season where ever the lord leads.

Thank you Brown’s for opening your home.

Happy Mother’s Day to the special moms in my life. We continue to be amazed by the beauty of your God-created nature. All that you carry, and how faithfully you carry it. The way you nurture, love, protect, and care for those entrusted to you is a reflection of God’s heart. We love you, we honor you, and we are deeply grateful for you today and every day.
