✨ October 2026 Wrap-Up ✨ This month’s highlights were divided into 3 categories: 💕 Light and Fluffy 🖤 Dark and Angsty ⚔️ Romantasy 💕 King of the Crease by @ajtruman_author I started the month listening to this book and I loved it so much 🥰 🖤 Pretty Poison series by @c.f.whiteauthor it was AMAZING! I know I will read more of their trilogies! ♥️ ⚔️ After reading to Threshing Day by @rebeccayarros , I felt like a reread of the Empyrean series was necessary because I had a lot of theories and I loved this reread so much!! 🔥 ♥️ Special mention for A Court of Splintered Harmony by @sarahjmaas I can’t wait to read the next part of this story, January can’t come fast enough! #monthlywrapup #october #romantasy #mmromance #bookreader by @elliie.reads
✨ Romantasy Series I think everyone should read! ✨ For those who know me, you know my first love is Fantasy & Romantasy! I’ve been reading this genre for years and here are some of my favorites! Strong FMCs only because I love my FMC to be able to carry a sword and fight their own battles ⚔️🔥 Let me know which one you read and if you have more recs, send them my way!!! ♥️ #romantasy #bookrecommendations #badassfmc #fantasy #bookseries ✨ Fae Guardians series by @lana_p_author I discovered this series back when only the Cycle of the Wolves was released and I fell in love with Rush and then his son Sharp 😜 Which led me to read them all and fall inn love with more MMCs 😂 The books are set in a post-apocalyptic world where women from our time wake up after a nuclear winter in a new world in which the humans have evolved into shifters to survive. The women are amazing, the males are hot, the love stories are great and the plot is plotting! 🔥 Every book follows a different couple with a woman from our time and one of the Fae Guardians. The new book from the Cycle of the Crows was released last summer and more are coming! ♥️ I really recommend the spinoff of this series Fae Devils, it’s a Reverse Harem series with a queen bee and her 7 males 🥵 ✨ A Court of Thorns and Roses by @sarahjmaas One of my friends offered this one to me back in 2020 and I devoured the series in only a week! The series starts with a Beauty and the Beast retelling and quickly evolves into a more fantasy plot with war, political alliances, treasons and, of course, LOVE! ♥️ The new book is coming out next week, I’ve been waiting for it for 5 years and I couldn’t be more excited!!! 🔥 ✨ Heart Hassle series by @ravenkennedybooks This one was my first ever Reverse Harem, I read it almost 5 years ago and I still think about it a lot ♥️ We follow the story of a Cupid FMC as she becomes corporal for the first time and meets 3 gorgeous males who help her discover what it’s like to have a body 😜 And later a 4th one joins the mix, because the more the merrier, right? 🥵 This series is really fun to read and has a nice plot line! I really recommend it for a light and spicy read! 🔥 The by @elliie.reads
✨ September 2026 Wrap-Up ✨ The Mate’s Mark Series by @geilselauthor was amazing! I can’t wait for the rest of the series 😍 I had a hard time concentrating of ebook this month even if I was loving what I was reading… I’ve been kind of stressed lately.. soooo I relistened to my favorite audiobook series! The Frat Wars series is one of my favorite audiobook relisten and I really recommend it if you haven’t read it yet! ♥️ I reread my favorite of the Franklin U series and it made me want to do a series highlight post so something might be posted soon! (If I can find the time to finish the post 😛) Ending the month with The Comebacks series by @ajtruman_author, this series is everything I was hoping it would be! I’m listening to King of the Crease right now and I’m loving it 🥰 #monthlywrapup #september #mmromance #bookreader #monsterromance by @elliie.reads
✨ Mate’s Mark series by @geilselauthor ✨ This series was so good, I loved every one of the books! I love that the world building was comprehensive but not too heavy. The overarching plot is very intriguing and I can’t wait to see how it will all be resolved! Each book follows a different set of MCs as they find each other and bring the plot forward. Series tropes: 💫 Fated Mates 💫 Human / Monster relationships 💫 Unique penises 😏 💫 Overarching plot 💫 Dystopian world I haven’t read an ongoing series in a while and was planning on waiting for this one as well buuuuuut... Earlier this month I saw something about Aryn having a unique type of knotting... and so I started this series, knowing full well that this was an ongoing series and the overarching plot wouldn’t be resolved yet. But the unique type of knotting didn’t disappoint! 😂 Review per book in the next slides ➡️ #bookreview #bookrecommendations #monsterromance #mmromance #seriesreview I love the banter between Cameron and Ronan, they made me laugh so hard! Cameron is a little brat and Ronan is a drama queen and both are always so grumpy 😜 But I just love how Cameron will do everything to make Ronan want to go, just to make sure that he won’t leave 🥹 It was a great first book for a series! The plot thickens in this book and you really get to understand what has been happening all these years. Elas is such a sweetheart, I wanted to protect him despite the fact that he was the big tough monster! And August is the nicest person you can imagine. I loved that they were friends before becoming more, it made their love feel that much more powerful! 🥰 Nyx broke my heart, his backstory was tragic! I had so many questions about him and most of them were answered! I love his relationship with Reyes and just thinking about the little rocks and cupcakes... There was so much love in this book. The tender, sweet, quiet and kind sort of love! ♥️ The moment I met Xeni in Elas, I wanted to know more about him, he was so intriguing. And the first chapter of this book had me with the dopiest smile on my face. I love when we get to see the before and after in second chance romances. Bash’s is amazing an by @elliie.reads
✨ Frat Wars series by @saxonjameswrites ✨ I always laugh and feel all the love when I listen to this series 😍 I read it for the first time last year and since then Presidential Chaos and Royal Scoundrel became my favorite re-listens! But this week I decided to relisten to the entire series and it’s so good! Iggy Toma and Alexander Cendese do a great job bringing these characters to life! #mmbookrecs #mmromance #bookseries #bookrecommendations #bookreview ✨ Chad & Bailey ✨ Chad is the archetype of the Frat bro and I found him so funny! I loved that Bailey was stealing random things from Chad’s room during their secret hook-ups 🤭 They are definitely the Romeo and Juliet of the series and their relationship was so cute 😍 Overall it was a fun, easy listen. The type of cute love stories where you know they’re going to end up together and just want to see how it happens 😉 ✨ Robbie & Brandon ✨ I love a good “Let’s figure out if we like it” trope! Robbie was just the funniest character, he actually made me laugh out loud! It was amazing to see Brandon let loose and enjoy the Frat life with his “brothers” I loved how sweet they were with each other, Robbie’s big love declaration was just swoon-worthy 🥰 Also, Robbie is a knitter and I feel like there aren’t enough knitters in romances, we deserve love too! 😉 ✨ Zeke & Charles ✨ They were just the loveliest! I liked that they already had the secret hook-ups happening before the start of the book. I loved the nicknames and the investigation and the secret meet-ups 🥰 ✨ Dash & Archi ✨ I loved them both! Archi was in a very hard situation but he obviously wanted Dash so much.. and Dash thought he wasn’t good enough for Archi or for anyone.. They broke my heart ❤️‍🩹 Since it’s a novella, it’s a very fast and easy listen which makes it the perfect companion for a short road trip 😉 The epilogue was just perfect ♥️ by @elliie.reads
✨ August 2026 Wrap-Up ✨ So many good books this month! My highlights were: ✨ Dirty Little Secret by @rileyhartwrites that I couldn’t stop listening 🥰 ✨ Extra Credit series by @authorgraebryan that I devoured in a few days 😍 ✨ Slow Heat by @letablake , I couldn’t put it down and I loved every moment of it ♥️ ✨ Thrust into Love series by @author_dj_jamison for the best low angst books I’ve read in a while 😍 I’m looking forward to seeing what next month will bring, I’m building a September TBR that will end up thoroughly ignored 😂 #monthlywrapup #august #bookreader #romancereader by @elliie.reads

✨ July 2026 Wrap-Up ✨ I can’t believe I’ve read that many ebooks this month! ✨ The Forever Wilde series by @lucylennoxmm was an amazing discovery, I loved the writing and the variety of each story! I’m definitely going to read more from this author 🥰 ✨ That One Moment by @csautumn.author was a very beautiful story 🥰 ✨ The Perfect Ingredient and Bro Doll by @j.desaint_author were unexpectedly sweet and I can’t wait to read the next one in the series 🔥 ✨ Born Wild by @jesse_h_reign just confirmed my love for all of her books ♥️ ✨ The Resilience of Stars by @xarakenley was a very cute love story, I’m excited to read more by this author 😍 I’ve re-read the Acotar series in preparation for the next one coming up and it was so nice to go back into this world I love 🥰 #monthlywrapup #july #romancereader #bookrecs #bookstagram by @elliie.reads
✨ Born Wild by Jesse H Reign ✨ This book has everything, it’s cute and hot and sweet and so full of love! I had an amazing time reading it 🥰 It’s the story of Jensen (Branson’s brother from Gone Wild) and Alfie, an English Lord who hired him to work in his gorgeous home library. Alfie was such a sweetheart, he is so romantic, he searched for his mate for years and still hopes he will find them one day 🥹 Jensen was fun and endearing, he was less bratty than Lucien from Gone Wild but he still had a lot of character and his verbal diarrhea was hilarious! I loved the intimacy that they cultivated and how they became friends before anything happened between them. This was a slow burn with a lot of tension and tender moments 🥰 The story definitely held my attention and I couldn’t put the book down while reading it! I definitely recommend it if you’re in the mood for something sweet with some spice but mainly a beautiful love story ♥️ Book tropes 💗 Omegaverse 📖 Slow Burn 💗 Fake Relationship 📖 Cute Nickname 💗 Lord/Boss & Employee 📖 Service Top/Alpha 💗 Fated Mates @jesse_h_reign #omegaverse #mmromance #bookrecommendations #bookreview #bookstagram by @elliie.reads
✨ Forever Wilde series by Lucy Lennox ✨ Welcome to the gayest family in Hobie, Texas 😉 This was such an amazing series! Each book follow a different member of the Wilde family as they find love 💕 With the exception of Flirt but I would have cried if Stevie didn’t have his HEA! He’s the kind of side character that you meet in one book and makes you look in the author backlog to make sure they have their own story 🤭 I love that each book was so different, there is really a book for every taste: whether you like small town romances, second chances, art heist/investigations, billionaire romances or army/historical romances, you will find your happiness in this series! I recommend reading it in order because I love the little cameos and seeing how each couple evolved after their own book, but you can read each book on its own if you’d like ☺️ 😍 My favorites in the series were: ⭐️ Wilde Love ⭐️ Hudson’s Luck ⭐️ Flirt ⭐️ Wilde Fire ⭐️ Facing West I can’t wait to read more books by Lucy Lennox, the Made Marian series is in my TBR and I feel like it’s going to be just as good as this one 😍 🎶 I was listening to this song a lot while reading this series, it felt like the perfect small town romance soundtrack 🥰 @lucylennoxmm #mmromancebooks #bookseries #smalltownromancebooks #bookrecommendations #bookstagram by @elliie.reads
✨ Book Recs with Forced Proximity ✨ Whether they are roommates, kidnapped, have to work together or are stuck in a cabin for a week, I love when the MCs are forced to spend time with each other! 😍 💖 Sainted by @jesse_h_reign 💖 Unrecognizable Player by @emmeryfoxauthor 💖 Unexpected Company by @csautumn.author 💖 Friends by @nora.phoenix 💖 Kidnapped by the Pirate @keiraandrewsauthor It’s one of my most read trope so I might make a part 2 for this one 😉 Please send me your own recs because I love this trope so much!!! 🥰 #bookrecommendations #mmromance #forcedproximity #mmbookrecs #bookstagram by @elliie.reads
