POSTPONED TO WEDNESDAY 2ND OCTOBER

TFS will be running on Wednesday 2nd of October from 2PM at Hackney City Farm. Weather providing 🤞we’ll be hosting from the garden again with private use of the strawbale room also available as a quiet space or the primary space if it rains 🐌💧

This month’s wonderful poster is provided by @elodiegatacre who has sculpted and then cast these pieces in plaster!!! Such a treat to have a sculptural poster 🌫️🤩🌫️ check out the rest of her work :)

Covid policy: We strongly encourage masking throughout TFS. Masking is mandatory when inside the Straw Bale room, we will be handing out FFP2s, running an air purifier and providing antigen tests, but we also encourage you to test before attending. The rest of the farm and cafe including the garden is shared with the public, so we can only ensure COVID mitigation for the Strawbale Room, but as always you are welcome to use the entire farm. We encourage all attendees to take covid precautions seriously in solidarity with the health of our hosts and any other visitors who may be vulnerable ❤️‍🔥

Please feel free to look over our safeguarding policy (link in bio) if you have any concerns - if you have any questions throw us a DM, we’ll be happy to help. Lots of love and see you Wednesday 🫶🏻💗 by @elodiegatacre

Showed this work in a really lovely little group show last week of trans + non-binary artists exploring timelines, and liminal spaces. I hope everyone that was involved and came along knows how lovely u all made it.

Anyway, I've been thinking a lot about whether I want to show photos of my artwork on Instagram. It’s not the context I want the work to be experienced in. It’s very different to walking into a room and being there with something. But I am going to show some photos of this work, in part because I worked far too hard for it just to end up in storage undocumented, and in part because I did make it because I felt a need to communicate whatever this says, and that felt important and resolute to me.

Anyway here it is. I hope maybe to show it in real life again sometime. It means a lot to me and I hope that maybe it might mean something to some of you too. xx

The full engraved writing and the title of the work reads
