My recent visit in Maison Laroche after Le Corbusier @fondationlecorbusier Architect, designed for Mister Laroche, art collector in the 20s-30s.
Architecture is a passion for me since long. And in this house, I particularly like the hall and footbridge between exhibition visitors area and private area. The kind of place where I find inspiration for proportions, color and material.

Chess carrousel after I crossed some nice versions (slide 6) @nadaliartexpanse @maisonetobjet this September.

It is always a very inspiring object for me and I wish I have opportunity to design one one day, even though I don’t play, since I discovered the Max Ernst version by @ateliershugo (slide 2&3) and the artist passion for it : Max Ernst was a great player and was fascinated by chess. He admired the intellectual rigor of this game and shared this passion with other artists (slide 1 is one of his set, and slide 4 is Marchel Duchamp playing with him).
And on slide 5, an interesting design by Angelo Mangiarotti, designer and architect in the 70s, made in travertine stone.
