On it ls way to its new home after my show at @galleriapatriciaarmocida , my sculpture 𝘓𝘰𝘷𝘦 made a stop at @duomodimilano - The Cathedral took 6 centuries to be built; a real labor of love. Having my sculpture standing in front of this majestic architectural piece of art is a reminder that we should share, show, spread love around us. It will affect us all and most importantly, it will come back to us. #templatesoflove #milan #elseed #love #حب 📸 @andrekinaphotography by @elseed

The Great Pyramids of Giza are a symbol of permanence in a world where lives are short; they are a visual symbol of power in a world where power is transitory. For centuries, humankind have tried to explain the exact method in which the Pyramids were built. It is still mysterious in our modern days’ time. For the new edition of #Foreverisnow, I wanted to create an immersive experience where the viewer will discover the Pyramids through my art piece Secrets of Time. The artwork invite the visitor to open a mysterious gate towards the Pyramids and unveil a world of imagination and fantasy that you wonder from behind the ropes, where the Pyramids can barely be seen but their presence is still felt. The pink swirling lines depict the words of the Egyptian Novelist Radwa Ashour ‘Time does not disclose its secrets to humankind’ and aim to contrast with the camaïeu of beige all around, a way to catch the attention of the viewer and invite him/her to reflects on the greatness of the landscape.Thank you @nadineabdelghaffar and all your team of @artdegypte for this once in a lifetime opportunity. You are the best.Thank you @alserkalavenue @abdelmonem_a @ineluctable_projects for supporting this endeavour. Happy we did it together.Thank you @mariuszdybich for everything you have done. You are the best. Thank you Rafik, Thamyr and the whole team at Metal Tube.#secretsoftime #foreverisnow2022 #elseed #egypt #a7san_nas 📸 @ouahidb by @elseed

Why would @elseed make olive oil?The French-Tunisian artist has always used his work to make people look closer. At places, communities and stories that deserve to be seen differently. With @tacapaeharvest that mission returns to Gabès.The project began with 31 century-old olive trees in southern Tunisia. When eL Seed discovered the land, he learned that the trees had been planted by his great-grandfather.What started as olive oil became a return.A collectible bottle. A family harvest. A love letter to Gabès.Tacapae shines a light on the farmers, the land and the quiet value of a place too often overlooked, carrying Gabès into the world through art, taste and memory. This is why we want to highlight this stunning work by eL Seed and invite you to follow another beautiful cosmos created by el Seed. by @elseed

Honored to be part of the new show ‘We Are Still Here’ at @petitpalais_musee curated by @galerie_itinerrance - 3 of my artworks are shown inside the Salon des Refusés while my sculpture ´Paris je t’aime’ is installed among tapestries, historic furniture, and decorative arts : it creates a beautiful conversation between contemporary practice and the heritage of the Petit Palais.#parisjetaime #onesttoujoursla #merciMehdi📸 @fmr2010 by @elseed

It seems impossible – Cape Town, South Africa - 2012 I was invited to Cape Town in 2012 to give a talk about my art. Obviously, I had to do my best to leave my trace there. So, we were driving on the highway when I saw a little mosque inside Philippi, one of the larger townships in the city. I knew immediately that it would be the door to enter this segregated and apparently dangerous area. Me : Salam alaykoum The Imam : Wa alaykoum salam Me : I am an artist. I would love to paint an art piece here, in this neighborhood. The Imam : No, you can’t. Me : Why? Look!…This is what I do. The Imam : Oh! Do you want to paint inside the mosque? Me : I would love to but I would prefer to do something outdoors. A few minutes later, someone called Forrest arrived. The Imam had called him. He proposed I came back two days later to paint on the most prominent concrete wall of the slum. I painted a small mural based on an inspiring quote by Nelson Mandela: ‘It always seems impossible, until it is done.’📸 @kent_lingeveldt_photography by @elseed
