🌍 World Humanitarian Day

On World Humanitarian Day, ElSheeda Foundation honours individuals, organisations, volunteers, and frontline workers serving humanity in times of need.

Humanitarianism is the courage to act for others—restoring dignity, hope, and opportunity.

We believe every life matters, every voice deserves to be heard, and every community deserves to thrive.

Through healthcare, empowerment, support, and sustainable development, we create lasting impact.

Today we celebrate those who turn compassion into action and challenges into hope.

May we continue to serve, care, and build a better world where compassion leads, communities rise, and no one is left behind.

Happy World Humanitarian Day from ElSheeda Foundation. 💙🌍 taken in Abuja, Nigeria by @elsheeda_foundation

This walk is more than steps—it’s a triumphant celebration of resilience, perseverance, and second chances.

We walk to pay tribute to survivors, cherish the memory of loved ones, and remind every warrior that they are never alone. Each step embodies hope, fortitude, and a shared pledge to a future with enhanced care, awareness, and support for all those impacted by cancer.

Today, I woke up with a deep sense of concern, but also a renewed sense of hope.

After reflecting on the current state of our country, I feel compelled to speak out and inspire a shift in our collective mindset.

As someone who’s had the privilege of experiencing both Christianity and Islam, I firmly believe that religion is not the root of our problems - our mindset is.

It’s time for us to rise above our differences and work towards a brighter future for Nigeria.

Let’s come together to challenge our assumptions and foster a culture of empathy and understanding.

By doing so, we can unlock our full potential and create a more just and harmonious society for all.

Let’s choose to see beyond our differences and harness our collective power to drive positive change.

Join me on this journey towards a more united and prosperous Nigeria?

As we commemorate International Youth Day, ElSheeda Foundation proudly recognizes the immense potential of young people, particularly young women, to become catalysts for transformative change.

By advocating for equal representation in gender equality, education, health, governance, we acknowledge the critical role young people play in creating a more just and equitable society. Their enthusiasm, creativity, and passion are the driving forces behind positive change.

Let’s unite to amplify the voices of young people, support their community-driven initiatives, and foster a brighter future that promotes equal opportunities, civic engagement, and inclusivity.

Together, we can build a brighter future for all!
