Introducing the heavily decorated, Valedictorian Summa Cum Laude Master Cosmetologist of 2026 and top service provider of my entire class. I call her Shawty.

That’s not luck. Nor is it talent that fell out of the sky. That’s tenacity I chose daily, when no one was watching but me. That’s intentionally refusing to let “good enough” be the ceiling when excellence was sitting right there, waiting to be earned.

Shawty Got Them Hands was never just a name. It was a promise whispered to myself on the hardest days. And today, I get to say it out loud: I kept it.

This isn’t just a diploma — it’s proof. Proof that I didn’t just show up to Aveda Institute’s Master Cosmetologist program, I showed OUT. Every early morning. Every late night perfecting technique until it lived in my hands. Every service logged when coasting would’ve been easier. by @eltsid
