If you told Elyse in 2021 when she first threw her name in the ring to run the Boston Marathon for @runformgh that now, 5 years later, she’d be running her FIFTH Boston and her NINTH marathon…she would explode. Drop dead. Combust. And yet…here we are. 5 years later. The gifts of mental resilience, community, and drive that endurance events have given me will never be lost on me.

Yesterday I got to take that trip from Hopkington to Boston that the lucky few of us get to take. I got to do it with my girls, despite a head cold trying to take me down, on a perfect running day. Even set a little 5 min course PR. I saw every type of love out there. The day was gritty in spots. Weightless in others. Turns out I really do recommend finding a job you love with coworkers you love - ones who lift each other up but also ground each other and shoot it straight and giggle like crazy. Aren’t we so lucky to be here 💙🩵🤍 taken in Riviera Maya, Mexico by @elyharrop

auntie duties are back in full swing for 2026: I’ll be back running the Boston Marathon this April in honor of this little lady 🤟

everyone can agree: kids getting cancer is the worst thing of all time. I’m honored to raise money again this year for the Mass General Pediatric Cancer Center; maybe one day childhood cancer will be a thing of the past with their help. please join me in supporting this cause this winter and spring. kids deserve to grow up.

(just like my rad niece riley here who is now 8, in 3rd grade, an incredible big sister, and one of my very favorite people in the whole world)

maybe do the thing because it NOT easy. you might love it (you might not). but maybe, many, many other things will become easier because of it.

8th marathon (actual lol) was one of deep gratitude in my favorite place in the world, acadia/MDI. would do it again in a heartbeat.

1 year of @themethod.pt Charlestown!

A true labor of love. 5 (long, grind-filled) solo months, then a progressive build adding @ali_mcinnis12 , @jkriedel, and @h.dike_. We had the privilege of helping hundreds of patients over thousands of appointments. This crew and all of the Method gals are Top Shelf Humans (as Jackie would say) and HOW LUCKY ARE WE to be smack dab in the middle of an amazing community here in Charlestown.

Healthcare is tough. Taking care of other humans is tough. @themethod.pt makes it better, joyful, easy(-ier), and so freaking fun.

Can’t wait to see what this next year brings our way.

What an ICONIC day!!!

The most joyful training season rolled into the most joyful race, full of laughs and happy tears and high fives and hugs. A 30 minute course PR, and while I can run a faster marathon, this one really feels special. MOST important is the >$9k we raised for the peds cancer center at MGH. Our team raised over $2.4 million this year, and I am so happy to have been a part of it.

20 weeks, 600+ miles, 1 sprained ankle, $9k+ to the @runformgh Pediatric Cancer Center, and one happy, healthy, cancer-free niece.

this was the most joyful training season yet. LITERALLY couldn’t do it without my grade A support system of fam & friends, @heartbreak.bos, and @themethod.pt gals.

we get one body. the gratitude I feel that I get to use mine to make even a little bit of a difference is hard to put into words. tomorrow we can run through the good pain and celebrate a season of hard ass work, devotion, and joy. 💙💛🧡💙💛🧡 taken in Boston Marathon Start Line by @elyharrop

had the most incredible afternoon @mystryde today raising money for @runformgh and feeling the love and support of a truly wonderful group of humans. my heart is overflowing with gratitude.
