POSTS STORIES REELS

This set wasn't scheduled to be done today, it just happened to come up in the queue, but apropos of the midterm elections, we've got another Fuck Trump/Abolish MAGA set.

Customer wanted a black sparkle base with purple lettering, chrome open faced covers, our Valkyrie wind, with a ceramic bridge and A5 neck.

Feeling slightly hopeful today, but be ready for the fuckery from the fascists in power. Hopefully you early voted or have a plan to vote today.

Blessing your timeline with an @officialibanezguitars RGMS7 bridge pickup today, but you're gonna want to tune in tomorrow, got something real fun.

This is a Trident II bridge pickup, features a ceramic bar magnet, black fiberboard tops, and nickel hex poles.

Hopefully you've early voted, or have a plan to vote tomorrow. Its time to vote these assholes out so we can flush this shitbag administration down the toilet.

It's Sentinel Sunday 🤘

Finished up a couple of Sentinel orders recently, so what better way to mark a Sunday than with the ultimate expression of the Tuned Aperture patent?

First up we've got a Sentinel set, with matte bobbins and brushed A5 rails.

Second is a Sentinel bridge with gloss bobbins and brushed A5 rails.

Hope everyone had a great Halloween, and if you're in the US I hope you've voted early, or have a plan to vote on Tuesday. Hopefully we vote these bastards out.

Got some more multiscale @officialibanezguitars optimized pickups for your eye holes.

First set is for an RGD71ALMS, which uses the same basic layout as the RGMS7 but features 8 string sized soapbar pickups instead of standard open coil pickups. This set was spec'd out with white housings, nickel hex poles, our Trident II/Hellfire Hybrid wind, ceramic bridge, and A5 neck.

The second set is a Trident I RGMS8 set, ceramic bridge, A5 neck, black hex poles, and black fiberboard tops.

Ever want to match the tops of your pickups with your fretboard? We can do that!

The first set is an @officialibanezguitars optimized RGMS7 set with Jatoba tops, matching the fretboard on the RGMS7. I also managed to fit the noiseless P90 in the neck position, was tight but it works 🤘Bridge position is a Trident I/II Hybrid wind, A5 magnets in both positions, and black hex poles.

Second picture is an @ormsbyguitars optimized multiscale Hellfire bridge with triple ceramic bar magnets and black hex poles.

Wrapped up another bass set this weekend.

We've got a 4 string Jazz style set, with staggered A5 pole pieces, black housings, and both positions are noiseless.

Wanted to record a demo of this, but it's been here too long and I haven't been able to make the time, so this one is heading off to the customer. Being a one man business, it's tough to make the time while also having to keep up with the queue and doing various side jobs just to make it in this economy. Doing the best I can.

I was supposed to post this Monday, but got too busy 😂

Finished up this set for @jazzalmenas this weekend, we've been friends for at least 25 years now. Love making pickups for my friends 🙂

This set features our Trident II wind, ceramic bridge, A5 neck, and I built a Tuned Aperture mini hum with A5 poles for the middle position. The DCR on that middle single coil is north of 18k, even higher than the two full sized humbuckers, but this is on purpose since the single coil sized humbucker is so much narrower. The extra DCR should take some of the high end away while keeping the output similar to the full sized humbucker.

Black bobbins and nickel hex poles round out the set, a modern classic combo.

There may not be a ton of Peavey Dynabass 5 strings left out there, but if you need replacement pickups for that, I've got you covered.

This set is for my friends in @amalgamation.death, a new progressive death band from Cleveland. I happened to see their first ever show, and became a fan right away. Natalie has a really awesome white 5 string Peavey Dynabass, but the stock pickups left a bit to be desired. Given the aggressive tonal needs for Amalgamation's sound, I decided to build something pretty heavy for her.

This set features a MM and J style hybrid humbucker in each position. A5 rod magnets, wound with 43AWG, the bridge position comes in at 18.2k while the neck measures 17.3k. These should breathe fire.

Go give them a follow, check out some of their love videos, and look for their debut EP sometime in the near future 🤘

Got wood? Been a minute since I've done a set with wood tops, this one featuring roasted flamed maple tops.

This set is destined for a 6 string @strandbergguitars Boden, features our Trident II/Hellfire Hybrid wind, and has those lovely wood tops. Customer opted for a ceramic bridge, A5 neck, gold hex poles, and triangular tabs.

The second set is a Hellfire set for a @officialjacksonguitars DKAF7, this set features black fiberboard tops, black hex poles, ceramic bridge, and A5 neck.

Would you get wood tops? If so, what would you want?
