I’ve started writing hundreds of times at all hours of the day, and after three weeks it still feels wrong to write about you in the past tense.

The idea of the invisible string theory we always talked about keeps coming up. We had been in the same room many times before, but we hadn’t found each other’s souls until it was time. And while the shape of what we were changed, you continued to be an important piece in my life. Nothing made me happier than when you’d still update me on your wins in life. There were supposed to be so many more.

I’m not going to be able to fit everything about you into one Instagram caption. But the people who knew you know how deeply passionate you were about everything you did. From the songs you wrote, to the clothes you designed, to your dirty martinis with blue cheese olives, to jumping in the ocean searching for sharks. You made everything you did have meaning. And as cliché as it sounds, you have left a mark on every single person who knew and loved you.

The world doesn’t feel the same knowing you’re not somewhere in it. I will miss you forever. Until we meet again

One of the most memorable mornings in Thailand. 🐘🤍 Grateful to have had an (accidental) private tour at an ethical elephant sanctuary in Koh Samui and spend time learning about these incredible animals, their rescue stories, and the conservation work helping protect them. taken in Koh Samui, Thailand by @em.guelli
