The Western Ringtail Possum is a critically endangered marsupial endemic to the southwest of WA, I've been lucky to have one live in my garden up until now, but my neighbours want the tree it lives in trimmed and I noticed that after some of the trimming its been flushed out and is stuck out on the open, confused and exposed, with a big stupid white boofy dog barking at it occassionally. hopefully it can build another drey nearby but its sad to think this could be the last time I see it.

the western ringtail has declined dramatically and only seemes to survive, bizzarely enough, holdfasts of surbubia and adjacent bushland, busselton to bunbury being one good spot and another being suburban albany. As such, gardens are critical habitat essential for the survival of this species, ive designed my garden over the 6 years ive lived here mostly to support ringtails and hopefully in the next five years some of the plants ive put in will become suitable habitat that could replace the shitty old pittosporum that this mumma was making do with.

Long known of this not uncommon orchid who has just miss me by over the years. I have wondered what its actual form is for yonks and the pictures have never done it. Having seen it, yes you need a video to get it because it's trying to do something with some sort of precision. What it's trying to djo is soe.thi g that only the neurones of the horny wasp it devices can tell you, and most of those neurones are probably maxed out on pheromones the way Richard Dawkins is with his AI gf.

Caladenia multiclavia, literally spent a fifth of my fortnightly income to visit it BC thats how I feel about orchids also I'm bad with money and an idiot. by @em_lamond
