This bit of mossy wood was given to me by my friend. It was dried out when I got it a few months ago but since being in with my Porcellio scaber it's come back to life. Now it's a lush green playground for the mancae and a never ending buffet for the adults.

Had alot of fun doing feildwork on one of my many favorite plants. Great group of people walking around some kinda tricky terrain, also found ALOT of my real number 1 favorite liverwort Syzygeilla colorata, and saw huge mossy carpets of my real number 1 favorite moss Rhacocarpus purpurascens

Field work part one @biodiversesolutions - tea tree thickets, swamps, Jarrah and Marri forests and beautiful Banksia woodlands ♡♡ Despite a job that often is not glamorous, exhausting, leaves you covered in scratches and dodging snakes daily, wouldn't change it for the world. A huge thankyou to @biodiversesolutions for the opportunity to survey these new sites, and the trusty team @btheyer .

Another crazy one from our friend @em_lamond 🙏. An oak growing inside a peppermint tree out amongst the W.A. wilderness.
