Today Im transporting this sickle I made as a prop for Merlin for a potential yet unmade project. One of my exercises in making blades in wood covered in metal tape. Wood, deer antler, copper tape, faux leather, waxed string, et cetera.

In less than two weeks, the 26th of september, me and ÅTERSÅDD will return to @filmregionsydost s lovely festival TellUs (this year in Ronneby).
I visited two years ago, just before my film was done, to do a lecture about the production, and it was a wonderful time with wonderful people.
Showing the film there feels like coming home, which in a way I am.
