F. PUNK JUNKIES
.
My final bow at UF SoTD
.
When I was first offered to be a part of this production, I admit I was hesitant. I wasn’t sure I could honor the story the way I knew was intended. I am SO GLAD I didn’t let that fear stop me.

My first time in the space, I knew this show was going to be something different, something more. The willingness of our beautiful cast to bring ideas and share stories to bind us as an ensemble is an experience I’m not sure I will get the honor of having again.

We were able to take a collection of stories that were seemingly so far away, and bring them to the now. This was a play about resilience, empowerment, rebellion…but most of all, love.

Es is a character I never thought I would connect to as much as I did. They brought out the biggest and smallest parts of me and I am so lucky to have had the chance to share that with the world.

“When memory is restored, vision returns. The three dimensions unify, and all violence stops.”

Thank you to everyone who brought this play to life, we made our own little family and I love you all ❤️

SUNDAY ON THE ROCKS

My BFA Acting Final Senior Project (what?!) This process was unlike any other I have ever experienced. We chose the show and cast ourselves, rehearsed at the craziest times even sourced our own props, costumes, and set pieces. To say I’m proud of us is an understatement.

To my incredible senior girlies @talia_caso and @ryleesiegel : I can’t believe we’ve made it this far, us three have been through so much together and I’m so grateful we got to share the stage together so intimately.

Thank you to Gayle, for showing me what it means to truly step into the world of another person, who has lived a whole life separate from yours. I learned how to listen to people more, how to appreciate what I have and still be able to want/achieve more.

To the people we could not have done the show without:
@maddielizaf thank you for agreeing to join us in this wild production, your dedication and grace with schedules was more than you signed up for, but ever so appreciated.
@julia.actorwriterdreamer thank you for agreeing to manage our show, and quite literally keep the lights on. You were so essential to getting us up on that stage
@noelle_isabella_ thank you for ensuring this show wouldn’t be lost to the abyss. These photos are a beautiful documentation, and I’m so grateful for you.
Eric Loscheider, the literal man, myth, and legend who we could not have even dreamed of doing this without.
