Welcome back to EP 2 of Tinies React! Where we react to old and new, live and non live music videos. 🙋🏽‍♀️

This week, we watched yet another old @independencerock video because these videos are GOLD and we miss I-Rock. 🫠
This one is extra special because it features our friends @siddharthbasrur and @ashwin.dutt.ponamgi , and the one and only @demonstealer in their baby forms 👶, playing in one of the most iconic bands of that time, Kinky Ski Munky!!

We watch them cover Vasoline by Stone Temple Pilots while the kids in the crowd go absolutely nuts, getting drenched in the rain. WHAT. A. TIME. 🌧️🔥

Also!!! If you’ve never heard Kinky Ski Munky before, you absolutely must head over to Bandcamp and start with Sleepy Soapy Saga. It’s a banger. 🤘🏽

Were you at this I-Rock? Do you remember Kinky Ski Munky? Tell us your stories! 👀

Proper “millennial cringe but in the best way”, was Embiyar’s sister’s comment on watching this. 🫠 Was it the dad jokes? 🫣

Regardless, welcome to the first episode of us reacting to some fun old and new music videos. And on this one, we’re highlighting our very talented and famous friend, P-Man (@rohitpereira) who’s been part of some fantastic bands and projects, including Pin Drop Violence, one of the most influential underground “mechul” bands of the 2000s.

We had way too much fun watching how they drove their audience crazy. 🔥💀🎀

Were you ever part of the PDV pit? Tell us your stories of watching or listening to PDV! 🤘🏿We want to know what it was like to be there. 🫠 by @embiyar

We’re at 4 days between concept & Final Cut on DVCs now, hire us! But seriously, I’m thinking of a name for what’s fast becoming our little boutique creative agency ‘cause *Historywali* is just too me-coded, all suggestions welcome, please put in comments.

This particular little film for @saybapples was thought up just last Tuesday while brainstorming with Moin & Anand. We shot it the very next day. Naziya didi made some killlllleeeerrrrrr dahi vadas for the shoot (so good that we are making them again immediately for Holi tomorrow please come home and eat if you’re in the neighbourhood!) Moin shot the film, Madhurima had the cut ready by Saturday, and it’s already up and doing the rounds on Meta. Naziya did all the cooking & featured in it too. I directed & produced. And Anand got in everyone’s way and for some bts where he’s getting scolded for getting in everyone’s way pls make your way to my stories (but he’s client and we love him etc).

A lens that listens 🎥

Our Festival Film Team documents the festival not just as an event, but as a living archive of people, emotions, and transformation. From quiet rehearsals and community meetings to large public celebrations — they are present, observing with care and framing stories with dignity.
They ensure the world sees Govandi the way its people live it: full of creativity, resilience, humour, and heart. Every photo, every frame, is a love letter to the community.
This festival is made possible by IMC India and UNESCO x SEVENTEEN’s Going Together Grant Scheme 2025.

Proudly hosted by the community of Natwar Parekh Colony and Community Design Agency. taken in Govandi by @embiyar

Last week, the Tinies were invited to partake in the all new Korean menu at @jimisburger Come with, as we enjoy a day out with our usual dose of laughs and drama 👉🏽 this time fueled by some good food 🤤

Think earthy kimchi goodness and the wake-me-up zing of gochujang; you know you’re going to be dreaming of partying with your favorite K-band tonight. Toodles! 💜
