This week, on Tiny Tales: Under the Surface, we have the enigmatic Tapi Project. The Tinies first saw the Tapi Project live at Independence Rock and we were immediately hooked. Their energy, presence, and charisma is something to be witnessed live.

We love their quirkiness and intensity, and how they make us...mehsoos 😛. If you haven't checked out their music yet, go check it.

Have you heard The Tapi Project before? Tell us via the poll.

What song from them was your first? Which one is your favourite? Share in the comments.

Impromptu decision to go to @varun_nimbolkar's gig at Bonobo last night. Thought I'd just pop in for a quick 30 mins because I got there a tad late, but ended up staying for the rest of the set. So much fun!

Don't be shy to go to the things you love on your own. You'll still have a great time, I promise. 💕

Missed my other tinies. 💜

In Part 1 of our new series, Tiny Tales: Under the Surface, today we're featuring Sahil Makhija, the ever famous @demonstealer !

Sahil is very well known in the metal circuit for his amazing growling skills and penchant for cross-sections, but care to know more about him...under the surface?

How dare we add techno music to the metal maestro's post? Read on to find out! by @thetinyheadbangers

On today’s Tiny Favs, we have an artist we discovered just a few weeks ago at @bhanujkappal’s very cool listening session: Kiki Gyan 🕺🏻🪩

Kiki became a millionaire in his teens, because he kicked ass as a child musician. He was huge in the 70’s and had a wild story. Which I will tell you one day, but not tonight. I’m exhausted 🥱 Even though I’m dancing in my head as I listen to Kiki. He has that effect.

Sleep tight 😴
(there’s an interesting story behind this saying too, but read above 👆🏽)

“My first set of Bombay friends introduced me to @parvaazmusic. There was a time when I used to take pride in the fact that I had been to each and every Parvaaz gig in Bombay ever since I moved here - so I don’t have any memory of my first ever Parvaaz gig. Needless to say I love their music but this song is just something else. I love that I can close my eyes, feel the wind on my face and slowwwwly move to the starting notes that build up and up and up. Parvaaz is magic!“

- Ranja

“And all I can say is Parvaaz 🫠 … sigh.”

Welcome back to EP 2 of Tinies React! Where we react to old and new, live and non live music videos. 🙋🏽‍♀️

This week, we watched yet another old @independencerock video because these videos are GOLD and we miss I-Rock. 🫠
This one is extra special because it features our friends @siddharthbasrur and @ashwin.dutt.ponamgi , and the one and only @demonstealer in their baby forms 👶, playing in one of the most iconic bands of that time, Kinky Ski Munky!!

We watch them cover Vasoline by Stone Temple Pilots while the kids in the crowd go absolutely nuts, getting drenched in the rain. WHAT. A. TIME. 🌧️🔥

Also!!! If you’ve never heard Kinky Ski Munky before, you absolutely must head over to Bandcamp and start with Sleepy Soapy Saga. It’s a banger. 🤘🏽

Were you at this I-Rock? Do you remember Kinky Ski Munky? Tell us your stories! 👀
