Booking screenings with teams across North America!

We excited to extend an invitation to #WFTDA teams for in-person and virtual screenings of @minnesotameandoc until July 2024 through @kinemahq!

BEST OF FEST at the Minneapolis St. Paul International Film Festival and an Official Selection of prestigious festivals such as @cinequestorg and the @floridafilmfest, MINNESOTA MEAN is a captivating story that follows @the_mnrd (Minnesota Roller Derby) journey as they strive to clinch the Hydra, the top international prize in the sport. @overlyhonestmoviereviews hails it as a film that “vividly portrays victory, defeat, perseverance, determination, and the ongoing quest to balance personal identity and a sense of community.” It highlights the power of derby and the incredible athletes who bring it to life.

Understanding the unique challenges faced by roller derby teams, especially in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, we wanted to offer a meaningful way to support teams. Many teams are currently struggling with venue issues or rebuilding programs disrupted by the pandemic.

By hosting a MINNESOTA MEAN screening event, teams can not only provide a unique and enjoyable experience for your members but also seize a valuable opportunity to raise much-needed funds for the team. 50% of ticket sales (after platform fees) will go directly to teams!

To explore this opportunity further, watch the trailer, and initiate the screening process for MINNESOTA MEAN with your team visit web link in bio. #rollerderby #minnesotamean #womenssports #documentary #womeninfilm #dessa by @emergencegrrl

Tonight was amazing. Packed theater in Fergus Falls for our little documentary, “Lost Souls” for @pioneerpbs, inspired by a book by @susan.b.foote. This is why local storytelling is important. taken in A Center for the Arts by @emergencegrrl
