Trump is threatening to pull federal financial aid from colleges that don’t comply with his political demands.

More than 10 million students rely on Pell Grants, work-study programs, and federal loans to afford attending school.

Losing that funding, even for a semester, could put college out of reach for millions of students and their families.

That’s why the @emergencycampaign is fighting back. Sign our petition at the link in our bio. by @emergencycampaign

⭐️💜 Student Power Gathering 2026 💜⭐️

On September 25th through 27th, a hundred student organizers from across the Midwest gathered at the University of Kansas (KU) in Lawrence for one common goal: to show that student organizing is alive and well, despite the region receiving little-to-no coverage!

Throughout the weekend, students shared their ideas, talked about their campaigns, but most importantly had the opportunity to create bonds that supersede state borders and formed through a desire to make meaningful change across their campuses. These students were taught by a slate of CCN trainers who all had incredible experience and lessons to pass down regarding student organizing, and also had the opportunity to hear from numerous leaders organizing within Kansas City and learn about a major win by KU faculty in forming a union.

We thank everyone that was in attendance and took the time out of their busy schedules to come down and step out of their comfort zone. We also thank all the leaders that stepped up to make this gathering possible, no matter what role you took on. This gathering was truly unforgettable and proved that the student power movement is continuing to grow, can’t be stopped, and is backed up by an incredible set of student leaders!

On the first day of the Spring 2026 semester, our professor shared that the syllabus had not yet been approved and that they could not tell us why. The Chancellor’s memos had banned certain course materials and faculty were both not allowed to share why the content was banned nor were they sure what exactly was allowed and what wasn’t. In an effort to stay in compliance, our professor said that we would simply be adjusting and that they could not share an exact reason for fear of inadvertently discussing banned topics.

When we caught up with Creighton’s team in the halls of the Capital, they seemed to either be playing dumb or severely uninformed. We don’t know which is worse. Their response didn’t match our experience. The incompetence and intimidation has created a climate of fear and silence on campus as everyone is on edge for fear of retaliation just like our professor, which is why we invite the Creighton team to leave Austin and spend a day in a classroom. They can shove it with their intimidation and aloof tactics and come learn something about who their political stunts are affecting. Coffee on us if they want to venture out here. taken in Austin, Texas by @emergencycampaign

We're done with politicians who promise affordable college and then let costs keep climbing.

COMMENT "FLOCK" TO JOIN SCHOOLS DROP ICE ‼️‼️🗣️

When the UW-Madison Police Department announced it wasn’t renewing its contract with Flock Safety and began removing cameras in July, it marked the conclusion of a community-led fight to kick the AI-surveillance technology off campus.

But for the students, faculty, workers, and organizers battling for the privacy of their community, a war against mass surveillance at UW-Madison continues. by @emergencycampaign
