POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Today marks exactly one year of going full-time with my production company, EmiBea.

So I figured I’d reintroduce myself.

If you’ve followed EmiBea for a while, you’ve probably noticed I don’t show my face on here very often. That’s intentional. EmiBea has never been just about me. It’s about the incredible clients who trust me with their stories, the creatives I get to collaborate with, and the relationships that make this work so meaningful.

But today felt like the right time to say hello again. So hey, I’m Emily, founder of EmiBea.

I started this company over nine years ago with a small Canon camera in hand and zero clue what I was doing. Somehow and somewhere along the way, I found a rhythm. I found myself at wedding venues, TV sets, sports fields, sound stages, basically anywhere someone would let me and my little camera in.

For years, EmiBea was a side hustle built between corporate meetings and school classes. But somewhere along the way, it became clear it was so much more than a hobby.

Last year, I felt a clear calling from God to stop trying to force other career paths and instead pursue the passion He had already placed in front of me. I can say without a doubt going full-time was the best career decision I’ve ever made.

This business is so much more than a camera and a computer. It’s years of work, prayer, and dreaming. But what I love most isn’t the camera or even the stories I get to tell, it’s the people.

My camera allows me to tell some pretty amazing stories, but it’s the people behind them who leave me the most impacted. To every client who trusted me, every collaborator who worked alongside me, and everyone who encouraged me along the way, thank you. I wouldn’t be here without you.

Nine years in, I’m incredibly proud of what EmiBea is becoming. My hope is that it will always honor God, serve people well, and create meaningful work because of it.

If we haven’t met yet, I’d love to connect. taken in Texas by @emibeafilm

Sometimes the simple setups make for the most beautiful shots. For this interview we let the back window be the main source of light, letting our supporting lighting fill in the shadows.

Lighting our subject with the @amarancreators 100d and a large @aputure.lighting softbox as well as adding a second Aputure light in the corner by the piano we were able to properly light our subject while letting our existing light shine.

Shot with two @sonycine FX3, paired with the 14-24mm and 16-35mm giving an ultra wide feel and soft closeup for those unique moments.

When filming architecture, the frame itself becomes the storyteller. Rather than relying on movement or camera tricks, the structure inside the frame leads, letting composition, light, shadow, and form define the narrative.

In architectural work, it’s not only about capturing the space, but the details within it: how a room is shaped, how light moves through it, and how design guides human use and experience.

This video is a short compilation from a two-day architectural shoot earlier this month, we filmed two sites, capturing the uniqueness, function, and character of each building. This video features one of the two building we shot.

Excited to share our first project with Last Energy, a company working to make nuclear energy more scalable, accessible, and efficient through micro modular power plants designed for the future of clean energy.

This was our first time stepping into the nuclear energy industry, and getting the opportunity to help tell the story of a company leading innovation in the space was an incredible experience. Excited for what’s ahead!

Last August, we teamed up with The Association of Former Students to tell the story of ‘Hullabaloo Caneck Caneck’, a time-honored tradition that resonates with Aggies everywhere. Our project culminated in a single video showcasing the energy and loyalty of the Aggie network.

Our director’s cut is featured above. On the same day, we were also granted field access to the Auburn vs Texas A&M game, allowing us to capture the thrill of the game.
