HOT PRESS Vo. 3 is officially here!

Our newspaper filled with all the things we love. Homes, thoughtful design, seasonal inspiration, good food, places worth going, things worth knowing, and the art of making everyday life feel a little more special.

And now, you don’t have to be local to get your hands on a copy.

HOT PRESS can officially be delivered straight to your door, ready to be read slowly with a cup of coffee, left out on the kitchen counter, dog-eared, passed to a friend, and hopefully kept around for a while.

This is tadelakt — a traditional lime-based plaster that creates a seamless, water-resistant finish without traditional tile or grout lines.

We used it throughout the shower and around the bathtub to create that soft, continuous look you just can’t get with tile.

What makes tadelakt different:
• It’s a lime-based plaster that’s compressed and polished by hand
• Traditionally, it’s finished with soap that reacts with the lime to help create its water-resistant surface
• No grout lines = a completely seamless finish
• The movement and variation are part of the material — no two walls will ever look exactly the same
• It’s been used for centuries in Moroccan baths and wet spaces

It takes a skilled hand (and quite a few layers) to get it right, but the finished texture is SO good.

Would you choose plaster or tile for your shower?

The things you don’t see matter just as much as the things you do.
Controlling air is one of the ways we build homes that are more comfortable, efficient, durable, and healthy and it’s something we think about from the very beginning of every project.
Because a beautiful home is only part of the standard.
We want to build homes that perform just as beautifully as they look. 🤎

Not all homes are built the same.

Behind every wall is a series of decisions that impact your health, comfort, energy bills, and the longevity of your home.

At Haus of Travertine, every home we build follows high-performance building principles because what you can’t see matters just as much as what you can.

Healthy. Durable. Efficient. Built to last.

Great architecture deserves a palette that supports it.

For The Ryan, every finish was selected to reinforce the home’s mid-century modern roots—a restrained palette of natural materials, layered textures, and warm, earthy tones that let the architecture remain the focal point.

It’s never about choosing the prettiest tile or the trendiest fixture. It’s about creating harmony between every surface, every texture, and every line so the home feels intentional from the moment you walk through the door.

Because timeless design is cohesive, not complicated. ✨

This is The Ryan—the home that’s setting the stage for everything to come at Haus of Travertine. Every decision, from the architecture to the materials hidden behind the walls, reflects what we believe homes should be: timeless, thoughtfully designed, and built with uncompromising quality.

If you love architecture, intentional design, and watching beautiful homes come to life, you’re in the right place.

Follow along—we’re just getting started.
