Some people come into your life and become a piece of your heart you never knew was missing. ❤️ You’re my best friend, my person, the one who knows all of me and loves me anyways. You’re truly one of the greatest humans, and I can’t imagine my life without you in it. I’m so grateful life brought us together, and I can’t wait for all the memories still to come and to keep doing life together. First college prospect camp in the books! Watching this girl chase her dream of playing at the next level has been one of my favorite things to witness. The blood, sweat, tears, hours on the fields, hard work, and determination she’s poured into this pursuit are more than I ever had at her age.

So damn proud of how she’s buckled down, believed in herself, and keeps working for it.

There are really no words big enough for what it feels like to look back at these pictures and realize my babies are 16. Harper and Stella, you have grown into two of the most incredible young women and I could not be more proud of you. I’m proud of the countless hours you’ve put into school, marching band, lacrosse, and all the things you’ve worked so hard for. But more than anything, I’m proud of the people you are. And one of my greatest joys in this life has been watching the two of you love each other, grow together, fight, laugh like a pack of hyenas, cheer each other on, never let a soul talk crap about your sister with threats of violence, and always be each other’s best friend. The bond you share is something I could never put into words, and I hope you both always know how incredibly lucky you are to have each other. I truly believe that as life gets bigger and harder and more beautiful, you’re going to be each other’s greatest gift.

Not only did you turn 16 today, you were first in line to get driver’s licenses and drove away from me BY YOURSELVES for the first time this morning. 😭 I swear I blinked and went from holding two tiny babies to watching two young women pull out of the DMV together. Being your mom has been the greatest privilege of my life, and watching you grow up is both the most beautiful and most painfully bittersweet thing I’ve ever experienced. Your dad and I love you both more than you will ever understand. Happy 16th birthday girls. Some trips leave you with a tan, souvenirs, and an empty wallet. This one left me with a full heart, an over worked liver, a face that laughed so hard I cried, an appreciation for hat exchanges (and rules), little 4th of July surprises, tequila, making new friends and spending time with old ones, and memories that I’ll never forget. So grateful I got to celebrate another birthday with people who make life this much fun. My heart is so full. 19 years since I became Mrs. Foster on a dock in Key West. 22 years of loving each other. We’ve lived through the highest highs and the lowest lows, through seasons that tested us and moments that felt too beautiful to even be real. Somehow, hand in hand, we built a life bigger and fuller than we ever thought possible. We’ve laughed until we cried, survived things that could’ve broken us, and kept choosing each other through every version of who we’ve become. Happy birthday to my absolute favorite human! ❤️

This year has brought some of the highest highs and lowest lows. Yet somehow through it all you’ve been the rock in our family, showing up every day and loving me and the girls.

You’ve propped me up and through two unbearable surgeries, helped me through the hardest parts of recovery, sat through endless lacrosse games with me, and continued being the absolute best dad to our girls through all of it.

I know losing your mom changed you this year, and watching you walk through that kind of heartbreak while still showing up for everyone you love has made me admire your strength more than I can put into words.

Thank you for loving me so well, for making our girls feel so safe and adored, and for being the person I still want next to me through every part of life.

This past weekend the Page high girls lacrosse team competed in the Smoky Mountain Shootout Tournament —legit the most beautiful sports complex I’ve ever seen.

These girls showed up and played SO well. Stella killed it on D and Harper stopped more shots than I can count. Our varsity girls came up with 1st 🙌

Loved getting to watch these girls bond and get to know the other parents who are also in it for the long haul. The girls just had the best time together and watching a team come together is pretty magical. 💛 On to the next one! 🥍 #PageGirlsLacrosse taken in Smoky Mountains by @emilymorrisfoster

Spring break 2026 in the books. We did all the things (and weather). ✅Nashville to Asheville to Knoxville to Loudon and back. ✅From 82 and sunny to 20 and snowing (all while in the same city). ✅Toured a few colleges ✅Hiked ✅Visited our favorite breweries ✅Too many Buc-ee’s stops ✅Bestie visit with so much laughter my sides still hurt.
