And like that a perfect fall Saturday brings our 2026 @thepageband #marchingband competition season to a close. A first place competition win and a double overtime @canesfootball win over FSU made for a perfect day!

I am so PROUD of my daughters, their friends, and this fantastic band staff. They put so much work into this and the results speak for themselves.

The irony of milestones is that while they are representative of an accomplishment and to be celebrated as such, they are not indicative of the destination- just to stop along the path to where we are going.

Today Emily and I celebrated our 250th workout at our local gym ( @f45_training_franklinberryfarm ). In just over a year and a half total.

Personally for me what this milestone - along with a slew of other changes in my life means is 90 lbs and two shirt sizes lost, sub-14% body fat, and strength and endurance that rivals that of 18 year old me. But most importantly more longevity on this spinning orb we call Earth. I feel accomplished. But not done!!

Thanks to my workout partner @emilymorrisfoster for keeping me accountable through all of your encouragement and support - now onto 500!!!

I think these girls had a pretty awesome birthday! Amazing to see @symdistro clients @lakestreetdive and Jack Johnson on a beautiful night in Nashville to ring in Sweet Sixteen.

Happiest of birthdays @harper.e.f and @stellafoster_30 ! I love you both to the moon and back. ❤️

Took this sexy lady and the twinadoes to the #drumcorpsinternational world championships in Indy this weekend. What a time! The girls are in love - i am reminded how special DCI and the marching arts are and reunited with some great friends to boot! Leaving with a full heart. 🖤

A weekend of firsts. @emilymorrisfoster and I attended our first NASCAR race! With team @tyler_reddick and @23xiracing !

From the Saturday pre-party up through the race - Needless to say the experience was pretty incredible! These folks know how to celebrate!

On my 19th wedding anniversary. I honor two women.

The first picture is an orchid I gave my mother on Mothers Day 2025. Noone on earth loves orchids like Becky Foster loved orchids. We lost her on May 19, 2025- Our anniversary.

We knew this anniversary would be especially difficult. So in lieu of presents- @emilymorrisfoster suggested we take a day off. And go get orchid tattoos honoring my mom.

I can’t think of a better way to honor mom and cannot think of a better way to celebrate 19 wonderful years with Emily.

While today is definitely heavy- today we CELEBRATE! What a life lived. We can only be so lucky.
