When I decided to change careers at 35, scared was an understatement. I had never worked for myself, never run a business and had not been near the equine industry for over a decade.

After doing some research I decided to put myself out there and gave Emily a call to see if she wanted to work with me ❤️ I will be forever grateful that she said yes, as she has shown me nothing but support, never fails to make me laugh and has brought some incredible people into my life along the way 🥰

You are an incredible human @emilywattsequestrian and I cannot wait to capture every step of your incredible story ❤️

One of our littlest liveries Blue 💙

All our horses and ponies here are fed on Simple System Horse Feeds and are all looking fabulous.

Blue has the metaslim forage balancer designed for horses and ponies prone to excess weight, metabolic problems and laminitis. I think we can all agree he looks fantastic on it 🙌🥳 by @emilywattsequestrian

I’ve said for a very long time I think saddle fitters should offer different stirrups to try as the impact foot and ankle mobility has on the riders whole leg and hip should not be underestimated. These videos are 10 days apart, Emily had a horrific leg break a few months ago and she has worked so so hard to get to this stage. She comes 3 times per week for mechanical horse, Pilates and strength training sessions. Today we tried a pair of flexon stirrups, and whilst the huge improvement in the leg function and stability comes from the off horse work, I’m super impressed with the support the different stirrups gave her. It really does take a village to achieve results and this was another step forwards towards getting back on a real horse. I am not endorsed by flexon in any way, but after my first use of them, I’m sold! #riderrehab #stirrups #balance #performance by @emilywattsequestrian

Lovely to be back out at a show, sadly not on board just yet but this time with our Questies!

If you don’t know I’ve put together a couple of teams! If you’d like to be involved there’s still room so drop me a message!

Finding our feet of what I can and can’t fit in to offer to my quest gang but was lovely to be at the side of the warm up to support you all on Sunday at the lovely Reaseheath Equestrian Centre fab to see some other lovely clients competing and doing great!

Dressage can be a daunting place if you’ve not done it before and I hope through offering a little support network through a WhatsApp group, some regular training and on the end of the phone for advice we can make dressage fun for all types of horses and ponies and level of rider! Our main goal, to enjoy it! by @emilywattsequestrian

Friday ➡️ Monday. Demonstrating the progress ↗️ it’s amazing what you can achieve when you put the work in. Emily fully snapped her femur just above the knee around 4.5 months ago. The brain disassociated the leg from the body and that’s been one of the hardest things to overcome, getting the brain to realise the leg is still attached and it does need to send signals to it to make it work! Combined with the screws in the knee, the pain has been horrific for em. She’s shown up consistently, listening to every bit of advice from her team (apart from slowing down 🤣) increasing what we do gradually, with the aim of getting back on the horse. My exercise program revolves around this and I’m so incredibly proud of her progress. My back is also rather relieved the leg is starting to be able to support itself 🤪 keep going wattsy, you’re doing amazing 🤩 #rehab #ridinggoals #riderperformance #hardwork @emilywattsequestrian by @emilywattsequestrian
