An inactive artist and a pathological body-checker.

Still thinking about art and self-obsession, self indulgence.
These pictures are paintings that I haven’t made. Having a lack of motivation and a full-time job means any creative idea that comes to mind either lies dormant for an indefinite period or gets forgotten about almost immediately. I think I’ve had enough of self-portraiture for now anyway - Oh the vanity!

These screenshots are from videos I have taken only in 2026, and belong to a years-long collection that has been culled, replenished and likely after this, culled again. Sometimes the project ends in the research stage.

Here’s to looking out into the world and focusing on things other than the self. I’m going to paint a kitchen dresser. by @emmacoadyart

Confession Booth - Construction

This project was something I wanted to make for a sculpture course I was taking in Bologna this year. I constructed a soft-material Confession Booth, with two compartments, and I invited some friends and others to come and make use of the booth. Entering with whomever and sharing whatever they liked. This performance took place in June in Giardini Margherita in Bologna. I am so grateful to everyone who helped me construct this piece and thank you thank you thank you for participating. by @emmacoadyart
