This Human Form (2026) by @pkhough

So much fun having my old pal, ex-flatmate and fellow Royal College of Art photography class of 2013 in the suite at @studiofifteen_post to grade this queer werewolf saga! 😀 And getting to see baby Patrick as Count Dracula 🧛 🐺 🥹
Lots of beautiful double exposure compositions to work with too!

This Human Form is the second of two new films that will be on show @galwayartscentr from May 15th
through June 28th.

From the home-movie monsters of childhood and medieval stone carvings to the kinetic pulse of a London queer club, This Human Form is a sensory triptych that traces the evolution of desire and the shifting boundary between the human and the monstrous.

Following an accident on his drive home from an ageing nuclear facility, Dev becomes stranded at an isolated emu farm governed by two older mystic lesbians. Growing suspicious of their intentions, Dev begins to fear what role he has to play in their arcane plans...

Fawn

Congratulations to Molly for their two recent screenings of Fawn @norwichfilmfestival and @asffestival. Can’t wait to see the journey this film will go on. This is such a beautiful and delicate film and I loved sitting with Molly in the suite for the grade. Lots of heartfelt chats were had 🥹

After her parents’ death, Fawn must confront long-buried memories when she returns to her childhood home, facing an emotional journey of reconciliation with the life she once abandoned.

Death Row Dogs 🐶

Absolutely loved working with @filmsbysomerset on this beautiful heartfelt film.

Inspired by the @pawsitivechangeprogram, Somerset went to California to document the transformative rescue dog training program that is changing lives. These dogs, that were set to be euthanized, are saved by @marleysmutts and are given a second chance - just like the inmates.

A cycle of serving time and reoffending is endemic in prison systems across the globe. But in California, a transformative rescue dog training program is providing an unlikely solution. As both inmates and their canine pupils confront their traumas, they embark on a journey of hope, rehabilitation, and mutual salvation.

New work! Music video - Chico The Look

Andalusia has a special place in my heart (I will be back there is a few weeks ☺️) so it was an absolute pleasure to work on this music video for Christian Mira @mira.cg. Shot last summer in his home town of Málaga and featuring his family and friends, it perfectly captures for me the vibrancy of Andalusian culture. That southern Spanish light is also just a dream! 💃🏻

The song is yet to be released so here is a sneak peak of a few stills!

🦀 RED EGG & GINGER premieres today at @tribeca Film Festival! Catch me in New York from 9th-15th June where I’ll be schmoozing my socks off 🧦 🦀

RED EGG & GINGER follows Hannah, a half-white and half-Chinese teenager, whose father has remarried and recently had a baby who is 100% Chinese. When Hannah meets her baby half-sister for the first time at her Red Egg & Ginger Party-a traditional Chinese event that celebrates the birth of a newborn baby-Hannah feels an intense jealousy and competitiveness towards the baby.

Any film where the main protagonist has beef with a baby is going to be great! 😉

In a mysterious experiment, a participant's pursuit of wealth unravels as money and morality clash.

This one pulled on the ol’ maternal heart strings in the grade, a beautiful film to work on. 🥺

Abigail, 9 years old, takes on the role of carer for her depressed mother, hoping to hold her fragile family intact during a visit from social services. As Abigail skilfully conceals her mother’s struggles, she soon discovers the heavy burden of responsibility that threatens her childhood.
