Day 5 here’s ‘The Magician’ oil painting on 16x20” wood panel for today’s #mabsdrawlloweenclub prompt Mythological. Tarot cards are deeply intertwined with various mythologies, particularly from ancient cultures like Egypt, Greece, and Rome. Each card serves as a symbol rich with meaning, often drawing on themes from these mythologies, and are a rich source of interpretation and insight into human experiences.
This piece is available now https://www.inveraritygallery.com/product/the-magician/ as part of the @the_inverarity_gallery new group show The Oracle. Harness some of the Magician’s power to make the world that you desire most!
.
And If u draw or paint or weave or sew or create in any way come join in this fun game 31 prompts for all October hosted by magical Mab Graves

The Magician card means that it’s time to tap into your full potential without hesitation. It might be in your new job, new business venture, a new love or something else. It shows that the time to take action. Her positioning represents her connection between the spiritual realms and the material realms “as above so below”. The Magician uses this relationship to create and manifest his goals in the physical realm. sHe is the conduit that converts energy into matter. The Magician’s shirt is white, symbolising purity, and his curtain is red, representing worldly experience and knowledge.
On the table in front of her are the four symbols of the Tarot suits – a cup, pentacle, sword and wand – each symbolising one of the four elements – water, earth, air and fire. It is also a sign that she has all the tools (and elements) she needs to manifest her intentions into being. Above her head is the infinity symbol, which signals that she has access to unlimited potential.

The northern Gothenburg Archipelago 💛 🩵 stayed on Fotö but my favourite hike was on Hönö explored a little bit of each island as u can get to them on ferries or bridges. Loved all the houses perched on rocks. Some people live in incredible places! 🪨 🌊 😮😍 ferry into Gothenburg for some vintage clothes shops #northerngothenburgarchipelago #gothenburgarchipelago #hönö #foto #gothenburg by @emmamountuk

The Aland Islands next a pretty archipelago in the Baltic Sea 🌊 with big views and we squeezed ourselves like sardines into a moored boat for the night. American cars everywhere 🩵 and cute remote cafes 🍰 then on to rainy Stockholm. The blue lit photo was in a public toilet 😅
