Many houses have a portrait of the “lady of the house”. Florido Sindy also has her own thanks to the talented
@emmamountuk 🎉. Her amazing A4 art print called ‘Sindy Noir’ was inspired by a beautiful doll belonging to anamariagarcia58. But my doll is cheekily pretending it’s her own portrait 😂

‘The Magician’ oil painting on 16x20” wood panel for #mabsdrawlloweenclub prompt Mythological. Tarot cards are deeply intertwined with various mythologies, particularly from ancient cultures like Egypt, Greece, and Rome. Each card serves as a symbol rich with meaning, often drawing on themes from these mythologies, and are a rich source of interpretation and insight into human experiences.
This piece is available now https://www.inveraritygallery.com/product/the-magician/ as part of the The Inverarity Gallery new group show The Oracle. Harness some of the Magician’s power to make the world that you desire most!
.
And If u draw or paint or weave or sew or create in any way come join in this fun game 31 prompts for all October hosted by magical Mab Graves

The Magician card means that it’s time to tap into your full potential without hesitation. It might be in your new job, new business venture, a new love or something else. It shows that the time to take action. Her positioning represents her connection between the spiritual realms and the material realms “as above so below”. The Magician uses this relationship to create and manifest his goals in the physical realm. sHe is the conduit that converts energy into matter. The Magician’s shirt is white, symbolising purity, and his curtain is red, representing worldly experience and knowledge.
On the table in front of her are the four symbols of the Tarot suits – a cup, pentacle, sword and wand – each symbolising one of the four elements – water, earth, air and fire. It is also a sign that she has all the tools (and elements) she needs to manifest her intentions into being. Above her head is the infinity symbol, which signals that she has access to unlimited potential.

The Magician
@emmamountuk
Medium: Oil on wood panel (sides painted black)
Art Size: 16 x 20 inches
.
#tarot
The unmistakable Emma Mount is here. Taking the traditional male figure of the Magician and transporting the powerful alchemy of the card into her "femme fatale" series of #oilpaintings. We love how dynamic she is.
Available now in our newly opened show The Oracle
#linkinbio to access online. Msg to chat about reserves.
.
Rider–Waite (transposed)
Waite’s magician features the infinity symbol over her head, symbolizing eternity
On the table before her are a wand, a pentacle, a sword, and a cup, representing the four suits of the Minor Arcana.
Such symbols signify the classical elements of fire, earth, air, and water, “which lie like counters before the adept, and she adapts them as she wills”.
The Magician’s right hand, pointed upwards, holds a double-ended white wand; the ends are interpreted much like the hand gestures, in that they represent the Magician’s status as conduit between the spiritual and the physical. Her robe is similarly also white, a symbol of purity yet also of inexperience, while her red mantle is understood through the lens of red’s wildly polarised colour symbolism—both a representative of willpower and passion, and one of egotism, rage, and revenge.
(Find the classic symbolism represented in exciting new ways in Emma's portrayal)
